The International Master in Nasal Cytology will be structured in frontal lectures and practical works at the microscope. Frontal lectures will deal with the cellular elements of the nasal mucosa considering their normal and pathological conditions. Topics of the International Tinnitus Seminar 2014 include the progress in basic research as well as novel diagnostic, imaging and therapeutic methods, cochlear implants and tinnitus, treatment of comorbid diseases (e.g. depression or anxiety) in tinnitus patients and many other themes. Congress participants may register for up to 4 workshops. Workshop participation limit: 25. Workshops can only be booked in connection with the congress registration fee.

The international Faculty designed the needs assessment process. Seven otological issues were identified as being most important. Discussions in prioritizing the issues were held anually since 13 years with the 20 faculty members of 9 countries after each Course. The expected educational outcomes are a better knowledge of each otological issue and an improved skills by understanding the techniques required to perform safe and efficient ear surgery and the technical solutions required for unusual problems that a surgeon might encounter. The expected impact in doctors' practice is a better patient's selection and an increased confidence in distinguishing different types of otological problems

Funding of LEE

29) The EACCME will only consider for accreditations LEE that fulfill all specific requirements. Accordingly, events provided by pharmaceutical and medical equipment industries will not be considered.

30) The sources of all funding must be declared.

31) The scientific and /or organising committee must confirm that all content of LEE is free of any attempt to influence the content by sponsors.

32) The Provider must submit information about the total number of learners and the fees.

Promotional material

33) All educational material must be free of any form of advertising.

34) Specific examples of what will lead to automatic rejection:

• Sponsors name in the title of program, a session, or a lecture.

• The display of brand name/logo in the programor a lecture.

The EACCME will accept a single page acknowledgment in the program where all sponsors are recognised . It must be clearly separated from the scientific part of the program.

Review by learners37) The Provider must provide means for the learners to provide

38) The EACCME reserves the right to request doctors , who will be attending the LEE, to provide independent information about the fulfillment of the criteria.

Mechanism of application39) The only application form that will be accepted is that made

available at www.eaccme.eu.

40) An applicant must not attempt to influence the decision of the EACCME.

Criteria and decision-making for accreditation

42) The application will be reviewed simultaneously by the two EACCME designated evaluation bodies:

a) the National Accreditation Authority.b) the relevant speciality-based EACCME

accreditation body in UEMS

44) EACCME accreditation requests support from both evaluation bodies.

Fees 51) The fee for an application is determined in

accordance with the expected total attendance of learners.

0 - 250 participants: 350 Euros

251 – 500 participants: 650 Euros

501 – 1000 participants: 950 Euros

1001 – 2000 participants: 1250 Euros

2001 – 5000 participants: 2450 Euros

More than 50000: 4250 Euros
