Activity 3: Follow recipeSTEP 1:
STEP 2: Collect ingredients and equipment – Use Activity 1 to help you collect what you need
Ingredients:
1 x Onion, finely chopped 250g Mince meat 1 x Puff Pastry sheet
1 x Celery, finely chopped Fresh Parsley, chopped 2x Garlic gloves, crushed 1 x Carrot, grated 2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
STEP 3: Cook
Activity – Write OR copy & paste (if using word document) the correct method in the LEFT box that matches the picture on the RIGHT. Once you have completed the activity, follow the steps in the method to cook your sausage rolls.
Add celery and carrot and cook for 5 minutes. Once cooked take off heat and let cool.
Combine vegetable mixture with mincemeat, Worcestershire sauce, mixed herbs and parsley.
Bake in oven for 30 minutes or until meat is cooked
Fry garlic and onion on medium heat.
Divided mixture into even portions for puff pastry.
