    INTRODUCTION

With an aim to increase the educational level of the students of the community the institution

has been serving the Society in different areas of education (both academic and Arabic classes

as well) since 1975. Institution started with a very limited work of text book distribution. The

Institution gradually increased the works step by step, first by giving educational aid then

administrating different Arabic classes all over Gujarat and also at Jalalpur (U.P.) and Dholpur

(Rajasthan). More than 10 youths of our community have been serving the society under the

    guardianship of IMAM-E-ZAMANA (a.s.)

As soon as the funding was stopped by World Federation, Haji Gulamabbasbhai Bhurani and

Haji Riyazbhai Masani held a meeting at Zainabia Hall, Bhavnagar and gave their valuable

suggestion that the activities stopped by World Federation can be kept alive by accepting

contributions from the local donors. Their suggestions were taken into practical

implementation and the scheme of providing financial assistance through local donors to the

students from Primary level to Matriculation level is highly successful and this trend is

continued till date. Local donors are also providing loans to Higher Education students up to

some extent and rest of the students are provided through Z.C.S.S. on this date.

    COMMUNITY HOSTEL

Bhavnagar is one of the centers for education facilities in Gujarat. Bhavnagar has its own

university where many higher educational courses are being conducted in various colleges.

Many students of our community from other towns and villages in vicinity of Bhavnagar enroll

in these colleges and are faced with residential problem. Hence we have started a community

hostel with 25 beds. Students staying in our hostel can study peacefully with Islamic

environment. Khoja Masjid at Amba Chowk is about half a k.m. from this community hostel.

Due to the demand in education we have received additional requests from the parents to

accommodate their children and with esteemed co-operation of the Trustees of Hyderi Welfare

Trust (Habib Walji Musafkirkhana) we could accommodate additional 16 students’ temporarily

at their Musafirkhana, due to our community hostel being over packed.

include Computer Hardware, Mobile Repairs including Hardware and Software.

    HOUSING SCHEME

Since the cost of new houses have sky rocketed, we with the help of local donors, purchase old

houses which are found to be in good condition and provide houses to the poor who reside in

rented houses. The part of the house is given to the family by collecting deposit according to

their budget and rest of the cost is paid by the beneficiary to us by way of nominal rent which

in other words is an installment. On the completion of payment of the cost of the flat, the

residential premise is transferred in the name of the beneficiary. In this way, we have solved

residential problem of many families to own a shelter of their own.

    MEDICAL AID

With the help from the local donors, we provide medical consultations, medical reports, and

hospitalization to deserving cases from our community. We also handle hospitalization in

emergency and serious cases based on war footing to save life to the best of our ability and

capacity. We are receiving tremendous response for this popular scheme.
