Actors: Hailey: Rosie Patton I have cast Rosie for this role as I know she will be able to bring a strong sense of character to my film, not only this but she is level headed and therefore I know she will be able to play this character with meaning and stay in the role of a strong determined person. Hailey is the one who organises this trip, she is the one who drives the car and keeps to the time. She is rather wealthy but doesn’t show it, the only clear indication is from the car she drives and her room, other than that she is a friend orientated person. Abi: Tabitha Smith Tabby is an excellent and bubbly actor who I know will play an excellent role in comedy. She will be able to get on well with all the cast and rise to the occasion when asked to act silly. Not only this, but she will also bring her own ideas on how to make something better. Abi is body conscious and likes to dress well and look nice, however she isn’t incredibly intelligent when it comes to a low profile and can have moments of silliness. This is key to my film as it will be a light hearted comedy and small comments and actions from Abi will play a huge part to that. James: Jake Witherington Jake is new to the acting side however already has a good friendship with two of my actors, therefore I have no fear in him getting on with the part and doing an excellent job. He will be playing a part similar to any other teenage boy about to go on there first holiday and will be looking forward to the trip with his three best friends. James isn’t overly loud in public but when with his friends he is able to relax and have a great time that is why he is dressed in understated colours. I didn’t want him to show up like Nick as he has a completely different character. James is shy and content with life, simply happy with good music and friends, yet he knows right from wrong and will defend anyone who needs his help. Nick: Stanley Gulliford.

Hailey: Rosie PattonI have cast Rosie for this role as I know she will be able to bring a strong sense of character to my film, not only this but she is level headed and therefore I know she will be able to play this character with meaning and stay in the role of a strong determined person.Hailey is the one who organises this trip, she is the one who drives the car and keeps to the time. She is rather wealthy but doesn’t show it, the only clear indication is from the car she drives and her room, other than that she is a friend orientated person.

Abi: Tabitha SmithTabby is an excellent and bubbly actor who I know will play an excellent role in comedy. She will be able to get on well with all the cast and rise to the occasion when asked to act silly. Not only this, but she will also bring her own ideas on how to make something better.Abi is body conscious and likes to dress well and look nice, however she isn’t incredibly intelligent when it comes to a low profile and can have moments of silliness. This is key to my film as it will be a light hearted comedy and small comments and actions from Abi will play a huge part to that.

James: Jake WitheringtonJake is new to the acting side however already has a good friendship with two of my actors, therefore I have no fear in him getting on with the part and doing an excellent job.He will be playing a part similar to any other teenage boy about to go on there first holiday and will be looking forward to the trip with his three best friends.James isn’t overly loud in public but when with his friends he is able to relax and have a great time that is why he is dressed in understated colours. I didn’t want him to show up like Nick as he has a completely different character. James is shy and content with life, simply happy with good music and friends, yet he knows right from wrong and will defend anyone who needs his help.

Nick: Stanley Gulliford. This person has a great sense of humour and a great friendly quality. I know Stan will be comfortable being the silliest in the group as he is comfortable in front of this cast crew. Not only this but he is able to try and get the persona in one go which is helpful knowing there isn’t much time.Nick is a mummy’s boy and will do anything for his friends and family, I wanted to show this through the breakfast he is having and the clothes he wears, as he really dresses to the occasion. He never misses a chance to brighten everyone’s day, he is outgoing and silly. I wanted Nick to be the character that really brought the humour enough for the audience to see the genre.

Costumes:

Hailey: Cropped black and white top. Shorts. Vans. Long hair. Light make up.

It becomes clear from the bedding and clothes that Hailey enjoys being In clothing she feels good and comfortable in, therefore I put her in this year’s most trended outfit. Hailey has money but doesn’t show it, therefore she isn’t in designer dresses and high heel; she simply wants to blend in but be comfortable within herself. The appearance shows clearly that it is a hot destination that she will be going to and the shoes indicate that the journey will be long, the vans she is wearing are suitable to drive in and a walk around in showing she is smart and thinks ahead.I have chosen to leave Hailey’s hair down with light make up to show she is a natural beauty and content with herself, she doesn’t need to impress anyone but herself.

Abi: White cami top Black cardigan Black short Sandals Hair in a bun. Hand bag Distinct make up.

Abi is a fashion and body conscious person, this isn’t shown as such in the opening of the film, yet by looking at what she wears and how she acts it will be clear she wants to look good. I chose to put Abi in this white cami and black shorts because they go together very well and any fashion expert will know you always wear floral with a block colour, stating again how Abi thinks about what she wears. However it can be noted that the weather in

England will still be cold and the sandals will not keep her warm very much showing she hasn’t thought through the journey and perhaps been thinking of other things.Abi has her hair in a bun to keep it out her face. This shows the rush of the morning, she hasn’t had time to straighten it and therefore it won’t be down. Her make up is perfect, so clearly Abi has thought about not leaving the house until it is she has had time to look her best. Her handbag shows she is like most teenage girls and carries everything with her where ever she goes.

James: Black jeans Black t-shirt Sunglasses Necklace Wrist bands Trainer shoes.

James is a shy to himself kind of guy, therefore he Is wearing rather understated clothes. He is not Into making a scene and is only comfortable around people he knows, therefore it wouldn’t of made sense to have him in bright colour in the middle of January. James is into wearing casual clothes, something easy and knows it will be cold outside but hot in Spain, therefore he is wearing a short sleeved top but jeans so he won’t be too hot or too cold. He is wearing converse as they are practical shoes for his holiday and he knows that he is going to start the day by walking to Nicks. The wrist band and necklace show his chilled vibe to life and how he likes to add a couple of things in fashion to his outfit. The sunglasses are to help blend in and take as an accessory on his holiday, they are a new style for him so he will wear them on his head mainly until he feels comfortable to wear them which wouldn’t be long as when he is with his friends he really relaxes.

Nick:

White top Floral shirt Shorts Sunglasses Flip flops.

Nick is the most comedic characters within my film. This is why he is wearing his summer time top and shorts in January, he is someone who goes all out to make a scene. A floral shirt which he will later wear will add to the comedic appearance by looking like someone heading to the beach and not into a car in England. He is wearing flip flops and sunglasses to add to this appearance and this later become a comedic highlight within the film. I chose Nick to wear outgoing clothes to match his personality and show a clear difference with him and the others.

Props:

Suitcases x4These suitcases will belong to each of the characters. They will be of a small size to show the trip won’t be long and the colours might suggest that they are the family’s suitcases and not their own as this is there first holiday alone.

Car The car is a Black Mini convertible this is to symbolise how close the group are through the size of the car. Secondly the car is a convertible showing a summery vibe.

Mobile phone x2These mobile phones are both apple products. This shows that the users with them like to have in date phones, keeping to the trend and uses their mobile phones a lot, as iPhone have lots of apps available to keep in contact for example imessage.

MapsThe map is a common prop when going on a trip. The map will indicate that the group are not familiar with the

Page 5: Actors, costume and props

roads and route they will be going and this will be a backup from the Sat Nav, showing how prepared the group are.

Sat nav The Sat Nav is similar to the map in the sense of why it is there. However it shows a more modern take on today’s technology and how the group have invested the time to check for traffic.

Hand bagsx2Hand bags are a key piece to any girls outfit and will show that the girls within my film are fashion conscious and like to keep their valuables near them.

Breakfast – Plates, knife and forks, fruit, toast and tea. This is a full looking table showing how this breakfast should take time to eat indicating how my characters will spend time together.

Table This table is not large indicating that only a maximum of 4 people live here.

Chairs x2These chairs will be sat in by two of my characters at breakfast time.

BedThe bed has a floral pattern on it and a white frame. This adds to the features of a girl’s bedroom and gives qualities to the character who lives there.

Alarm clock. The alarm clock will feature at the start of my film, it will essentially what gets the day going.

Towel.

Page 6: Actors, costume and props

The towel will be carried by one of my characters parents to the bathroom to show how this person will be having a bath or shower and will therefore be out of the shot and no longer a threat to the holiday.
