Dreamsaver Wedding Insurance has been protecting dream weddings since 2005, this means you are in safe hands should you encounter any mishaps during your wedding that are covered by your policy.

Unlike some wedding insurance policies, with Dreamsaver your wedding reception does not have to be on the same day of your wedding ceremony, there can be a maximum of 21 days between the ceremony and reception and you will still be covered.

The cost of your wedding insurance depends on the level of cancellation cover you select and if you decide to add any extensions to the policy. There are 6 levels of cover to choose from. As of June 2014, prices for Dreamsaver Wedding Insurance start at only £25.

An added advantage is that Dreamsaver Wedding Insurance will also cover money paid by relatives of the couple, providing they have a demonstrable financial interest.

Last but not least – the important aspect of liability cover. Public liability cover is provided for the couple up to the amount shown in the policy benefits schedule. As of June 2014, Dreamsaver provides £2,000,000 (£2 million) in liability cover for the couple which can be increased to £5,000,000 (£5 million) by adding an optional extension. Public liability cover can be added for guests, too.

Recent records show that financial failure of wedding service providers is the most common reason for couples to make a claim on their Dreamsaver wedding insurance policy.

The good news is that your policy can be arranged 2 years before your wedding, so you can pay deposits to your wedding suppliers with peace of mind. Dreamsaver also provides cover for deposits that have already been paid prior to the start of your policy, subject to normal policy terms and conditions.

If your wedding is fast approaching, don’t worry, you can purchase a Dreamsaver Wedding Insurance policy anytime up to the day before, however, to receive the full policy benefit you will need to arrange your policy no later than 14 days before your wedding.
