Thematic Concepts

Challenge: Coke requested thematic concepts in support of major merchandising events or key buyer groups. Objective: Understand Coke’s unique brand attributes and how they translate to each event or demographic. Result: Coke loved the concepts and we were awarded additional pieces of their business and retained our “preferred supplier” status. One of only six companies to enjoy the privilege.

In-Store Giveaways

Challenge: Anheuser-Busch needed to understand our ability to support their distributors’ sales mechanisms and provide them with marketing/merchandising that would translate into increased foot traffic and sales Objective: Isolate applicable themes, translate them into thematic concepts and meaningful merchandise/marketing their distributors could use as giveaways. Result: Led to the acquisition of the largest customer in our industry ($140m over three years) and all of the distributor business across the United States.


Drip Mail Campaign

Challenge: A current client, IBM, needed to understand our creative capacity and how we could leverage that in new ways for their business. The client went to RFP and sought ways to use promotional merchandise to aid their various sales arms in penetrating new client bases. Objective: Create unique branded drip mail campaign for IBM’s ancillary services to aid in driving sales. The two-piece mail campaign (single mailer and a gift) was meant to intrigue the recipient through graphic images and sparse copy. Second mailer to be a humorous/unique gift that would overcome the recipients “throw away” impulse and serve as a brand reminder. Result: The retention of a top 10 account ($8m annually) and inclusion of the drip samples in IBM’s Vice President of Marketing’s office.
