• Objective of the Course :

• To develop ability to recognize & utilize research as a

problem solving process in social work practice.

• To develop ability to utilize simple research process

& to conduct simple need based survey relevant to

field practice.

• A Grass-root worker is the one who has acquired

training: paraprofessional course and / or diploma in

Social work / or on Job trainee in the field of social

work and community animator.

Building Skills for Social

Entrepreneurship

• Objectives:

• Provide an active learning environment for students to learn about Social enterprises and develop competencies to work in them.

• Offer an opportunity to ideate - test hypotheses around the creation of social ventures, and thereby develop a first-hand understanding of how the field works.

• Serve as accelerators for early-stage social entrepreneurs - to tackle pressing social and environmental challenges through SE incubation cell

• Develop Case Studies and Models of Social Entrepreneurship that can be replicable and scalable that are especially relevant to the field of social work and the marginalized target communities

• Giving them hand on training in the art of Puclic relations and Public relation management.

• Understanding basic Photography skills

• Understanding and harnessing the power of social media.

• Encouraging creativity and design sense in poster making (digital and actual)

• Teaching the participants to create a storyboard and the basics of documentary film making.

• Understanding and using the media through effective writing and public relations.
