    1.1 NOTICE TO BIDDERS

    A. This Addendum is issued to all registered plan holders. This Addendum serves to clarify, revise and

    supersede information in the Project Manual, Drawings and previously issued Addenda. Portions of the

    Addendum affecting the Contract Documents will be incorporated into the Contract.

    B. This Addendum is in response to Contractor questions and Owner revisions.

    Question: Sheet M11 – All the ductwork shown appears to be new. Is this correct? In this case all the

    26 56-02 EXISTING EXTERIOR EMERGENCY EGRESS LIGHTING. VERIFY BATTERY BACK UP ANDCONNECTION TO UNSWITCHED POWER.

    A. ALL ELECTRICAL WORK SHALL BY CLOSELY COORDINATED WITH THE CONTRACTORS PHASING OF THE PROJECT. COORDINATE ALL ELECTRICAL WORK WITH ALL OTHER TRADES.

    B. MAKE ALL CONNECTIONS TO EQUIPMENT PER MANUFACTURER'S REQUIREMENTS.

    C. ROUTE ALL CONDUIT HOME RUNS TO PANELS OVERHEAD AND ABOVE ACCESSIBLE CEILINGS WHERE AVAILABLE.

    D. ALL LIGHT FIXTURES SHALL BE 120 VOLT, UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED.

    E. FURNISH AND INSTALL 1000W RATED DIMMER SWITCH FOR CONTROL OF LIGHT FIXTURES AS INDICATED. DERATING IS REQUIRED IF MULTI-GANGED AND CONTROL FINS/SIDE SECTIONS ARE REMOVED. COORDINATE WITH DIMMER SWITCH MANUFACTURER'S INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS.

    F. ALL FINAL LOCATIONS AND ARRANGEMENTS OF CEILING LIGHTING FIXTURES SHALL BE COORDINATED WITH ALL OTHER TRADES.

    G. EACH SWITCH BOX SHALL HAVE A GROUND AND ASSOCIATED LIGHTING CIRCUIT NEUTRAL CONDUCTOR.

    H. ALL NEW LIGHTING CIRCUITS HOMERUNS ARE TO BE 3/4" CONDUIT MINIMUM WITH BRANCH CIRCUIT #10 AND GROUNDING CONDUCTOR #12 UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED.

    I. ALL EXIT LIGHTS AND THE EMERGENCY BATTERY OF EMERGENCY FIXTURES SHALL BE CONNECTED FOR CONTINUOUS OPERATION. CONNECT TO UNSWITCHED LIGHTING CIRCUIT.

    J. REVIEW LIGHTING REFLECTIVE CEILING PLAN AT TURNOVER AND IDENTIFY ANY NON WORKING FIXTURES. CLEAN, AND IF NECESSARY, REPLACE BATTERIES, LAMPS OR BALLASTS PRIOR TO TURNOVER.

    K. REFER TO ARCHITECTURAL REFLECTED CEILING PLANS FOR FINAL LOCATION OF ALL CEILING MOUNTED ITEMS. REFER TO ARCHITECURAL ELEVATIONS AND SECTIONS FOR MOUNTING HEIGHTS OF WALL OR COLUMN MOUNTED FIXTURES AND DEVICES.

    L. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE UPDATED CIRCUIT PANEL DIRECTORIES FOR ALL PANELS THAT CONTAIN CIRCUITS IMPACTED BY THIS PROJECT.

    M. MAINTAIN EXISTING LIGHTING AND CONTROLS IN AREAS NOT UNDER CONSTRUCTION UNTIL REPLACED WITH NEW.

    N. CONTRACTOR TO MAINTAIN EXISTING CIRCUITS IN AREA(S) NOT PART OF THIS REMODEL. CONTRACTOR TO ENSURE ALL "DOWNSTREAM" LIGHTING CONNECTED TO CIRCUITS BEING REMOVED OR RECIRCUITED REMAIL OPERATIONAL.

    O. LESS THAN 10% OF LUMINAIRES IN SPACE ARE NEW THEREFORE COMPLIANCE WITH INTERNATIONAL ENERGY CONSERVATION CODE (IECC) SECTION C405 IS NOT REQUIRED (2015 IECC SECTION C503.6 ALTERATIONS-LIGHTING SYSTEMS).
