There is a big BUT involved in helping and that is:

…BUT you can’t help anyone else until you have truly helped yourself first

This is different to only helping yourself = SELFISH


If you intend to help anyone outside of yourself but you, yourself are not well – it will only cause more damage in your duty, obligation or profession of helping others.

I was under the illusion in my life, once upon a time that I can help people but there was no way in the world that I can help if I was smoking, drinking, drugging, selling my body, partying with criminals and whilst still diagnosed with bipolar
