ABSTRACTThe file presents additional results for 180 images from threedatasets.
1. MORE EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS
The file presents the results obtained for the images in thefollowing databases: Ballet and Breakdancers [7], and Mid-dlebury [8] with the three file size: full, half and third.
The progressive coding method is using the GSOm algo-rithm [6] to generated sequences of lossy versions for the en-tropy coders CERV [2] and APC [9]. Two implemented meth-ods are used for comparison: M2, denoted here PF M2, andM5, denoted here PF M5. The results are obtained by firstgenerating the lossy images using new GSOmPF algorithm,by second encoding the images lossless using APC [9], andfinally applying each methods.
