The progressive coding method is using the GSOm algo- rithm [6] to generated sequences of lossy versions for the en- tropy coders CERV [2] and APC [9]. Two implemented meth- ods are used for comparison: M 2 , denoted here PF M 2 , and M 5 , denoted here PF M 5 . The results are obtained by first generating the lossy images using new GSOmPF algorithm, by second encoding the images lossless using APC [9], and finally applying each methods.

ABSTRACTThe file presents additional results for 180 images from threedatasets.

1. MORE EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS

The file presents the results obtained for the images in thefollowing databases: Ballet and Breakdancers [7], and Mid-dlebury [8] with the three file size: full, half and third.

The progressive coding method is using the GSOm algo-rithm [6] to generated sequences of lossy versions for the en-tropy coders CERV [2] and APC [9]. Two implemented meth-ods are used for comparison: M2, denoted here PF M2, andM5, denoted here PF M5. The results are obtained by firstgenerating the lossy images using new GSOmPF algorithm,by second encoding the images lossless using APC [9], andfinally applying each methods.
