ADJECTIVESWe use adjectives to say more about a noun or a pronoun.They go before a noun or a pronoun.Adjectives have no plural forms. 3. Adjectives go AFTER (not BEFORE) APPEAR, BE, BECOME, FEEL, GET, LOOK, SEEM, SMELL, SOUND, TASTEYou look tired. That seems easy. 4. Some –LY adjectives have no adverbs: FRIENDLY, LIVELY; LOVELY; LONELY; SILLY. in afriendly, silly, lovely … way 5. ADVERBSWe use adverbsto say more about a verb (adverb after a verb / adverb before an adjective / adverb before another adverb.)Adverbs tell you how, when, where or how much something happens. 7. They usually go at the end of a sentence.Never between the verbs and its objectWe form most adverbs by adding –LY to the adjective.Irregular: GOOD – WELL; HARD – HARD; LATE – LATE 8.
