Students shared information in regards to the impact of the program on their educational success. Student Commendations/Recognition Alvin ISD Board of Trustees recognized various students for their success. Nolan Ryan 6th grade student, Sydney Mathew, was recognized for receiving an award from ink rough Math, for successfully completing an adaptive web-based learning system. Trustees also recognized the District Bluebonnet Rumble Champions. 4th graders Ramsey Robertson, Leonardo Rios, Kelis VanAken, and Noah Richards of Hood-Case Elementary were acknowledged, as well as Bailey Gardner of EC Mason Elementary. In addition, Trustees commended Manvel High School National Merit students for being recognized by the National Merit Program for their academic accomplishments. e following 12th grade students were recognized: Aaron Shajimon – National Merit Semifinalist Samuel George – National Merit Commended Wesley Pennock - National Merit Commended Sydney Mathew Manvel HS National Merit Students District Bluebonnet Rumble Champions

Greeters

Administrative Appointments

Templeton Demographics presented the current enrollment forecast, which included the mentioning of growth of 1,321 students this year alone in Alvin ISD. It was also mentioned that by 2026 Alvin ISD could top an enrollment of 33,000 students, which is more than 10,000 additional students than the current enrollment. EC Mason PTO Donate FundsThe EC Mason Elementary PTO donated funds in the amount of $32,797.18, which will be used to provide additional technology for the campus. Yellowjacket Booster Club Donates Funds to Support AHS AthleticsThe Alvin Yellowjacket Booster Club donated $6,000 to support the Alvin HS Athletic Programs. Trustees Approve Contract for Construction of District StadiumBoard of Trustees approved a contract with Manhattan Construction for development of a Central District Stadium.
