Message From LIVE LEARN WORK Welcome Spring! Jeff Industries had a whirlwind winter culminating with winning $70,000 from the Great Charity Challenge. Our team came in at 6th place! We wish to thank our team sponsor the Van Kampen Foundation, our corporate sponsor Caroline Mawhinney and the terrific people at the Great Charity Challenge organization. It was an exciting and rewarding evening. Our jumping team also won first place ($3,000) for their costumes. The woodshop has been busy making “Buddy Benches” for the Mental Health America of Palm Beach County. They place these benches in public elementary schools as safe places to help prevent “bullying”. We are also making “Josh’s Benches”. They are sponsored by families and business organizations and are placed in the community in order to raise suicide awareness and prevention. The initiative was started by Cindy Nadelbach, whose son Josh tragically committed suicide recently. Our clients construct, paint and install these benches. We want to thank our donors, customers who purchase our products and the community employers who hire our clients. We are participating in the “Great Give” this year on April 24. It runs from midnight to midnight only. Please mark your calendars for that date and donate to Jeff Industries. Your contributions will be eligible for bonus funds.. Please go to www.greatgiveflorida.org and search Jeff Industries to support our mental health agency. Or you can call 1 (844) GIVE-DAY, 1 (844) 448-3329. PLEASE SAVE THE DATE!!
