Dear Students,
Right from its beginning, FORE School of Management has striven to impart management education, which nurtures business leadership required to meet the expectations of ever changing industrial, financial and commercial world. With increasing globalization, such challenges and responsibilities have increased many folds. FORE has acquired a unique brand and tradition, and its alumni have done extremely well. With an incomparable legacy, commanding ample resources of intellectual capital and first rate infrastructure, FORE faculty is competent to help the students grow into competent professionals. The recent recession inspired the faculty to include innovative changes in the syllabi and the courses so that the students could acquire right attitude, skills and strategy to meet the challenges.
The subprime crisis and the ensuing world-wide recession had its impact on placements in our country quite substantially, but FORE students could boast to have done considerably better than other reputed B-Schools, both in quantity and quality of placements.
There is more good news for students joining FORE in the coming years. Though situated in a central location in Delhi amongst beautiful surroundings, our campus is not spacious enough and has no room for a hostel. Surmounting innumerable obstacles, we have finally been able to submit drawings to civic authorities for building an additional built-in area of approximately 20,000 sq ft. Within a short time the school will build state of art classrooms with technically advanced infrastructure. A new canteen and a gym are also on the horizon. Further, we are pleased to inform that we have been sanctioned 7.38 acres of land in the Education city being built on G.T. Road near Sonepat (Haryana). After completion of the planning process, construction at this location is slated to commence soon.
We have a new Director now who is an IIT Delhi alumni and a Ph.D. from the University of Toronto, Canada, and has a vast experience of teaching at IIM Lucknow where he was also the founder Dean (Noida Campus). He has also taught at IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Kozhikode. I am sure Dr. Jitendra K. Das, the new Director, will lead the faculty and students in taking FORE to greater heights.

I wish to thank you for showing interest in FORE School of Management. We have been providing quality education in management for the past 29 years and over 3000 students have graduated from FORE since its inception in 1981. At present FORE offers two-year full time programmes in Management (PGDM) and International Business (PGDM-IB), and a three-year part time programme in Management (part-time PGDM) having a total planned student strength of about 750. We foster sharpening of skills and enhancement of knowledge base in our students through various curricular and extra-curricular activities. To facilitate this we have Centres of Excellence to enhance domain specific research and training amongst faculty and entrepreneurship among students.
Our faculty members have made substantial contribution to the academia through quality teaching, publications, seminars, conferences, etc. They not only keep themselves at par with the current developments but also contribute to the expansion of the body of knowledge in their field of expertise. Our success is exemplified by way of various collaborations we have with our partner institutions and universities in India and abroad, and the excellent goodwill we enjoy with the corporate world who generously contribute to our various academic processes. The corporate interactions including corporate supported projects undertaken by our students under faculty supervision is considered unique, in the sense, that it provides a close hands-on-experience to our students as part of our curriculum. Thus, as a student you certainly are expected to have an enriching and life turning experience that should propel you to take advantage of the new opportunities in life.
As a prospective student, you are welcome to explore options that may be available to you in our various academic programmes and do not hesitate to contact us for additional information.
