According to a pressnote from theOffice of Director Geneal of Police athree-tier Bandobust was arrangedfor safeguarding strong rooms com-prising Inner cordon Middle cordonand Outer cordon as per the guide-lines of Election Commission Theywere being guarded by the CAPFsalong with CCTV surveillance roundthe clock with command control cen-ters set up for each location ArmedReserve and local District Police forceare being utilized for perimeter pa-trolling and watch duty to prevent theunauthorized access of anti-social el-ements at the strong rooms

The forces deployed for strongrooms along with law and order andArmed reserve component was de-ployed for counting day in all Districtsand Commissionerates The objec-
