The Harwich Centre Pre-school staff members were delivered paediatric first aid training by Adult Community Learning in October 2010. The training was presented well by its tutors and delivered in a manner that was clearly understood through practical participation and visual learning.

Carole MorganHarwich Centre Pre-School

We would gladly provide a reference for Essex County Council as a Training Provider. We felt that the administration leading up to the course was good and we were kept informed as the course drew closer. The actual course itself was well prepared, the tutor arrived in good time and the participants felt that the course had been presented well to them; this was borne out by the fact that all members of the Team passed the external Assessment. We would not hesitate to commend Essex as a Training Provider to you, and hope that this reference will serve as an assurance to that fact.

I am please to endorse Harlow Adult Community College for the submission tendering opportunity. We have worked in Partnership with the College to deliver accredited training to vulnerable women. The training provided the women opportunities to finding employment on our Employability Training Program.

During this time the service we received was exceptional, in terms of engagement, administrative support, quality standards and risk assessments. The completion rates were exceptionally high in comparison to similar schemes in the region that we delivered. The college was also very empathetic and accommodating to the needs of our clients and offered training that was flexible thus ensuring the inclusion of all our clients.
