EXPERIENCED LEADERSHIP TEAM

Veronika Mühlhofer CEO/Secretary General

As the first professional CEO, Veronika is one of the most experienced and recognised figures within the Swiss Sports management industry. Along with her masters degree from Stanford University and 6 languages, she brings 18 years of international sports, media and event management. She has led complex projects at multiple Olympic games, World Championships and other sporting events. Aside from her role with the FSR, she regularly consults for Swiss Olympic, Federations and various international organisations.

Peter Schüpbach President

Peter leads the FSR as President and head of the Board of Directors. A former rugby player himself, Peter is a Swiss business economist with an MBA from Rochester, New York. Besides being president of the Swiss Rugby Union, Peter works as CFO of Sensato AG. He is also general treasurer and Board Member of Rugby Europe, the European Rugby Association.

EXPERIENCED LEADERSHIP TEAM

Nicolas Stepowski Head of Marketing

Nicolas, from France, has a masters degree in sales and marketing. He is a key player in the further development and growth of the FSR. He brings valuable expertise from his previous rugby managerial role with leading French Top 14 rugby club ASM Clermont Auvergne where he headed the department of event operations. He also worked for a sports marketing agency in Lausanne in charge of launching sporting events as well as looking after the activation and commercial aspects. He played rugby at high level.

Sébastien Dupoux High Performance Director

Sébastien from France, is an exciting addition to the FSR and Suisse Rugby in general. As a sports director, he brings invaluable rugby coaching experience to the national teams. He boasts of world class experience with top professional rugby clubs such as Grenoble, Toulouse and others. Among other notable achievements, he was a key member of the French coaching national teams of the U18 and Sevens. His vision, passion and pedigree will be a terrific influence in the future growth of Suisse Rugby.
