The Singapore Institute of Legal Education is a statutory body established under the Legal Profession Act
(Chapter 161) to develop, co-ordinate and oversee initiatives on legal training in Singapore. For more

Assistant Director / Deputy Director (CPD/FPE)
Reporting to the Board of Directors and the Executive Director, you will be integrally involved in the
establishment of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) scheme and the conduct of the inaugural
Foreign Practitioner Examination (FPE), both of which are scheduled to take place in 2012. You will also
serve as secretariat to the Institute’s Board of Directors as well as the committees established under the
Institute’s various programmes.
Requirements:
• The ideal candidate would have a good law degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Wide general interests and alert to changes in and demands of the legal industry and legal education.
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills .
