Eligibility Criteria for BPS:Qualification: Ph.D from HEC recognized institution in the relevant field.Experience: 15 year teaching/research experience in HEC recognized University or a postgraduate Institution or

professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.OR

10 year post Ph.D teaching/research experience in a recognized University or a postgraduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.

Publications: At least 15 research publications (with at least 5 publications in last five years) in internationally abstracted journals recognized by the HEC.

Age: 40 – 45 year.

Eligibility Criteria for TTS:Qualification: Ph.D/relevant terminal qualification from a recognized and reputable Institution in the relevant field.Experience: 11 year post Ph.D/relevant terminal degree.

ORMinimum of 07 year of post Ph.D experience with at least 12 year of experience prior to the Ph.D. The experience to be counted is to be of teaching/research in a recognized University or a post-graduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.

Publications: 15 research publications (with at least 5 publications in last five years) in internationally abstracted journals recognized for the purpose of appointment on Tenure Track by the HEC.

General Instructions:1. Candidates for posts of Professor & Associate Professor are required to submit four sets of reprints of research

publications along with prescribed application forms.

2. Candidates are required to submit attested copies of their degrees, result cards, transcripts, certificates & domicile etc. along with prescribed application forms in person or send by mail to the Registrar, University Secretariat,University of Management Sciences & Information Technology(UMSIT)Kotli (A.K) P.C 11100.

3. Candidates applying for more than one post shall submit separate application forms for each post applied with required documents completed in all respects.

4. Candidates may obtain application forms from the Office of Deputy Registrar (Meetings), University Secretariat, UMSIT,Kotli (A.K)by producing Rs. 3000/- (BPS-20 and above), Rs. 1600/- (BPS-17 – 19) on University Challan UMSIT Kotli forms available at authorized branches of Habib Bank Limited in Azad Kashmir OR by sending a bank draft of Rs. 3000/- (BPS-20 and above), Rs. 1600/- (BPS-17 – 19) in favour of Treasurer, University of Management Sciences & Information Technology(UMSIT)Kotli (A.K) along with a large size self-addressed envelope affixed with Rs. 50/- postage stamps at your own risk.

5. Age limit shall not be applicable to in-service permanent University / Government employees.6. In-service (permanent employee) candidates must apply through proper channel by the due date otherwise their

applications will not be entertained. 7. The services as a teacher in High Schools/Embassy Schools/Degree Colleges/Cadet Colleges will not be

counted as experience for appointment to a teaching post in the University.8. Preference will be given to AJK Nationals. 9.
