Named one of South Florida Busi- ness Journal’s Power Leaders in 2015, Finley-Hazle earned a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration and a bachelor of science degree in Human Biology, Health and Society from Cor- nell University. NEW MEMBERS

The Chamber welcomed the following nine men and women as new members of our Board of Directors. They will serve a term of three years. Dennis Grady, CEO of the Chamber, stated that the new Board members represent a cross section of the business community and individuals committed to serving the community.

The Chamber is pleased to announce the release of the 2016 Guide to the Palm Beach-es. This award-winning pub-lication contains listings of the entire membership and a wealth of information on West Palm Beach and Palm Beach County. It will debut at the

County’s largest networking event, the Chamber’s annu-al State of the City Address at the Palm Beach County Con-vention Center on Jan. 22. The Guide is used by residents, vis-itors, tourists and local busi-ness men and women when purchasing products or ser-

vices. It appears in local hotel rooms and is distributed by the West Palm Beach Informa-tion Center, Palm Beach Coun-ty Convention Center and Palm Beach International Air-port.

Palm Beach SCORE and the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches have entered into a strategic alliance. The pur-pose of the alliance is to provide training, resources and mentor-ing to members of the Chamber. The workshops are designed to enhance their skills as business men and women.

Our first Trustee Lun-cheon of 2016 will take place on Jan. 19 with guest speaker Ray Aba-din, President of the Florida Bar Association.

Abadin is a Partner in the Miami office of Sedgwick LLP, where he focuses on complex commercial, insurance and corporate litiga-tion. He is AV-rated and chaired the 3rd District Court of Appeal Judicial Nominating Commis-sion. He received his undergraduate degree at Tulane and law

degree from Loyola Uni-versity in New Orleans.

Abadin’s family immigrated to the Unit-ed States in 1961 from Cuba when he was 2 years old. He is fluent in Spanish and Portu-guese.
