West Palm Beach Mayor Jeri Muoio will focus in on the future of West Palm Beach in her annual State of the City address, presented by Good Samaritan Medical Center, on Friday, Jan. 22 at 7:30 a.m. The event will be held at the Palm Beach County Conven-tion Center.

A $40 pre-registration dis-count price for members is good through Jan. 15, and is $45 thereafter. Non-mem-ber tickets are $50 before the deadline. Friends of the May-or table sponsorships are available for $500.

Free parking will be spon-sored by Hedrick Brothers Construction. Courtesy of our host sponsor, GL Homes, arrive early and network with elected officials and other community leaders and enjoy coffee sponsored by Aqua Marketing & Communications.

The Chamber held their hol-iday mixer and silent auction on Dec. 16 at the West Palm Beach Marriott. Everyone enjoyed holiday cheer and the company of their fellow Cham-ber members.

Gabrielle Fin-ley-Hazle serves as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of St. Mary’s Medical Cen-ter and the Palm Beach Children’s Hospital, overseeing the strategic, oper-ational and clinical activities for the 464-

bed acute care hospital, children’s hos-pital and trauma center.

Previously, Finley-Hazle served as CEO of Florida Medical Center (FMC), a campus of North Shore. She also led the launch of the award-winning Com-prehensive Stroke Center at Florida Medical Center and the region’s first

freestanding emergency department. Prior to joining Tenet, Finley-Hazle served as CEO of a large multi-specialty physician group practice and as admin-istrative officer and associate admin-istrator of a large medical center, chil-dren’s hospital and trauma center at another major healthcare network in South Florida.

Named one of South Florida Busi-ness Journal’s Power Leaders in 2015, Finley-Hazle earned a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration and a bachelor of science degree in Human Biology, Health and Society from Cor-nell University.

Thomas A. Dye

Thomas A. Dye is a partner in Feldman Gale’s Miami office. An AV-rated trial law-yer with more than 30 years of experi-ence, Dye focuses his practice on intellec-tual property, insur-ance coverage, com-mercial and product

liability and cyber security. He is cred-ited with high stakes, high profile victo-ries in many industries, including soft-

ware, telecommunications, automo-bile, petroleum, hospitality and con-struction.

Outside of the courtroom, Dye has taken on leadership roles at sever-al legal organizations, including the American Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute. Mr. Dye has taught Trial Advocacy at the University of Miami School of Law and frequently writes and lectures on litigation topics.

The Chamber is pleased to announce the release of the 2016 Guide to the Palm Beach-es. This award-winning pub-lication contains listings of the entire membership and a wealth of information on West Palm Beach and Palm Beach County. It will debut at the

County’s largest networking event, the Chamber’s annu-al State of the City Address at the Palm Beach County Con-vention Center on Jan. 22. The Guide is used by residents, vis-itors, tourists and local busi-ness men and women when purchasing products or ser-

vices. It appears in local hotel rooms and is distributed by the West Palm Beach Informa-tion Center, Palm Beach Coun-ty Convention Center and Palm Beach International Air-port.

Abadin is a Partner in the Miami office of Sedgwick LLP, where he focuses on complex commercial, insurance and corporate litiga-tion. He is AV-rated and chaired the 3rd District Court of Appeal Judicial Nominating Commis-sion. He received his undergraduate degree at Tulane and law

degree from Loyola Uni-versity in New Orleans.

Abadin’s family immigrated to the Unit-ed States in 1961 from Cuba when he was 2 years old. He is fluent in Spanish and Portu-guese.
