GUIDELINES FOR THE SUBMISSION OF ADVERTISEMENT ARTWORK

WHAT TO KNOW?

LOGOS:For best result we requirea) Illustrator CS, saved as PDF or EPS file with

all text converted to outlines (if not sending fonts).

b Photoshop CS – saved in CMYK as PSD, TIF, EPS or PDF.

c) Vector graphics - .AI or .EPS

All images and logos to be saved at 300dpi.

PLEASE NOTE:• DO NOT STAPLE through logos/ images.• Ensure that all coloured images/logos are

contrasting and easily reproduced (if it cannot be photocopied, it probably will not scan well).

• Original photos are best. Newspaper, magazine and telephone book clippings do not reproduce well.

NOT ACCEPTABLE: • Inkjet and bubblejet printouts or faxed

copies of logos.• Images, maps, articles, etc which are

covered by copyright.• Gold or silver printing.

SENDING DIGITAL DOCUMENTS

Please pass this information on to your graphic designer or advertising agency.

SAVING YOUR FILES:Supply file documents in any of the following formats, or formats compatible with:a) Press ready or high resolution PDF files.b) Illustrator CS (or earlier), saved as EPS file

with all text converted to outlines (if not sending fonts).

c) Photoshop CS (or earlier) – saved in CMYK Please supply all relevant fonts and TIF/

EPS with document laser proof.d) Images and logos to be saved at 300dpi.

Files will be output in Adobe InDesign.

PLEASE DO NOT SUPPLY MS PUBLISHER FILES. Save them as EPS or TIF for MAC.

SENDING BY EMAIL: Address: [email protected]. Files preferably no more than 6MB*.Please mail us a printout so we can check that files are printing correctly.
