Within the last days of August, Prague became the playground of the52 AIJA Congress. The International Association of YoungLawyers gathered between 26-30 August, in order to discuss thecurrent issues of their industry with some of the best speakers in thefield. But they also planned to do that in the most active mannerpossible.

With an average age range of 35, these young and motivatedprofessionals gathered over the annual AIJA congress in order toget stimulated and inspired, to meet, network, and learn fromtheir peers’ experiences. These objectives wouldn’t be achievedwithout having SMART goals (Specific, Measureable, Achievable,Relevant and Time-bound) of how to achieve these objectives, andwithout a clear knowledge of the host destination. AIJA teamed upwith AIM Prague Office, in order to get the needed expertknowledge on the destination from the DMC division – a youngand dynamic team themselves. Roman Muska, CountryManager of Prague Office, shared: “My team tailored a programto inspire! It is what Prague does best! When people are young andenergetic, this is really the best place to be.” The reason is simple –Prague is a diverse city, with old traditions and yet modernflavour, with the beautiful river of Vltava, colourful and fun.

The Prague Team took a close look at whatAIJA aligned as goals and objectives, andtailored a program to satisfy these. AIMPrague Team showed understandingover accommodating every need of theyoung delegate – from offering activeevents, as the football match organized forthem, to presenting the art and culture ofits destination through the social events held in the Municipal Houseand in Charles University. The program intertwined activities atunique venues, as St. Agnes Monastery, making an introductionover the history of the city. Further, a day spent at the KrivoklatCastle, presented the vast cultural heritage of Czech Republic. Thissuccessful collaboration underlined the importance of matchingthe destination with the event – as well as the client with a suitablepartner.
