Our Engagement & Involvement team

The Advocacy Project is an independent, rights based advocacy provider and conforms to the definitions of an independent provider as described in the Scottish Independent Advocacy Alliance (SIAA) Principles and Standards for Independent Advocacy organisations.

The Engagement and Involvement team (E & I team) of The Advocacy Project provides an independent service which support people to be meaningfully involved in the service they receive.

It promotes an ethos of empowerment, participation and involvement on behalf of those who use services.

We work across Glasgow, North Lanarkshire, South Lanarkshire and East Renfrewshire.

Why advocacy and anticipatory care planning?

Thinking about what you may need relating to care and support in the future can be daunting for many reasons.

Being able to have a discussion with someone who is both impartial and knowledgeable.

We can support people to complete their ACPs or empower clients to complete them independently with the correct information.

We can support people to liaise with a range of professionals if needed to complete their ACP.
