ASEAN Framework Agreement on Cross-Border Transport of

Passengers Background•Facilitate greater people mobility within ASEAN: one of them is through the facilitation of inter-state passenger land transportation.

Benefits•Cross border facilitation of the transport of passengers by road will lead to an increased flow of people through facilitation of seamless passenger traffic and a reduction of transport costs within ASEAN•Promote, develop and enhance tourism, investment, trade and cultural exchange among ASEAN Countries
