The company, a successful manufacturer of pressed parts and components for the automobile industry and its suppliers, is located in the vicinity of Metz and pro-duces parts for the French market and also exports its products to Germany, USA and other important car-manufacturing countries.

Machines in accordance with the state of the art, most of them fully automated and designed for flexible use, together with motivated and qualified personnel with an exemplary team spirit guarantee extremely productive and economical production processes.The strict application of a quality manage-ment system in accordance with the demanding international standards of DIN EN ISO 9001, QS 9000 and VDA6.1 guarantees the high quality standard demanded by the automobile industry and thus ensures customer satisfaction.

The modern machines for shaping, assem-bly and surface treatment include:

- fully automated press lines with up to nine linked presses and coil systems

- progressive presses with five and eight stations

- individual presses with automatic feeders

- assembly lines and processing lines for completion work

- multi-stage continuous painting line for degreasing, phosphating and KTL- painting.

AEF produces a wide range of parts and assemblies and does this economically, on time and in top quality.One of the main activities is the manu-facture of pressed parts and components such as booster-shells and dust-shields in many variations.AEF profits from the transfer of expertise from Allgaier Werke GmbH, Uhingen, in the areas of materials, acquisition of resources and quality management.

For example, the tools for the forming of sheet-metal parts are manufactured in the tooling department of Allgaier, which is highly regarded in the automobile industry.

This close cooperation, which has proved its value in the last few years, is the prerequisite for the economical operat-ing procedures, quality and short delivery times of the French factory.
