AEFM was formed in 2009 to provide FM services tailored to our client’s exact

requirements. We do this through working with our clients to understand how their

business works, then developing innovative tailored solutions that add value to our

clients’ core business model.

Since 2009 the business has grown rapidly and has benefited from working with some truly inspirational clients that have helped support our business growth alongside theirs.

Our team comprises highly experienced and competent FM professionals that understand what excellence looks like and how it can be used in the development and implementation of client focussed integrated services. Ultimately they know that there is no value in a one size fits all solution.

AEFM owes its success to its people and is absolutely committed to the continued development of everyone within the business through our FM academy. We want to be the best within the industry and we want our team members to know we’re committed to their future.

AEFM is committed to developing best practice within the FM industry, delivering solutions that add value to our clients business by ensuring that fully understand fully the clients requirements before presenting a solution. This approach is unique within the industry which typically spends more time focussed on implementing a standard solution than listening to what the client is telling them.

Our peopleTo deliver effective integrated FM services you need people that understand it, people that have delivered it in practice, and people that understand that it’s more than a simple service extension. It’s why we actively invest in our team members, providing them with the learning opportunities and the experiences necessary to be experts in their field. We do this through our FM Academy programme that identifies and develops experts within our business.

FM AcademyWe work closely with our staff to help them realise their full potential and give them skills that allow them to work effectively with teams and clients. We know that giving team members the capability, competence and confidence to deliver more is something that differentiates us from our peers in the marketplace and ultimately allows us to engage at a higher level with our clients.

The FM services market is changing as the economy drives efficiencies within the workplace. This requires new skills to be developed by the FM team. Our approach has always been to embrace these changes, working with our clients to support them with this requirement and passing on our knowledge.

FM Academy also provides an opportunity for you to develop your own FM teams, giving them the knowledge, skills and competencies necessary to drive efficiencies within your workplace. Supported through expert training and development coaches, AEFM can deliver the training and support needed to enable individuals to progress their careers within the facilities management industry.

SustainabilityAt AEFM we actively work to reduce both our clients and our own impact on the environment, ensuring that in delivering any service we utilise products and materials with the lowest possible impact at all times.

We have the technical knoweldge and experience to work with our clients to reduce their energy consumption at source, developing a detailed knowledge of their buildings before presenting solutions that substantially reduce the volume of energy being consumed. We know that simply presenting energy reduction projects isnt enough. For a project to have any value it needs to be carefully considered, understanding exactly the energy consumed and how before selecting technologies that provide the greatest level of impact and the shortest possible payback period.

We understand implicitly that keeping our own house in order is just as important as delivering sustainable solutions for our clients. We therefore ensure that we recruit locally from the communities we work within and actively seek to work with suppliers that are local to our clients. This reduces the overall impact on the local environment and keeps money in the communities within which we work.
