of Science and Education of Ukraine, organized a number of lessons, with the slogan Childhood – is the territory of safety.

At AES Kievoblenergo and AES Rivneenergo we believe that by educating children about electrical safety and at an early age, we can instill knowledge that will last a lifetime. With that goal in mind, AES

Ukraine has been working in partnership with local schools and school boards to provide electricity safety lesson, free of charge, to

all the elementary schools in our service territory year by year.

In 2008, more than 20 000 children in 119 schools

learned valuable lessons about using electricity

safely and wisely.

what benefits it gives.

And what is the most important – children learned that careless handling of electric energy could have

fatal results.
