    County-wide Comprehensive Affordable Care Act Health Forum

    SAVE THE DATEIn two weeks, on Saturday, Nov. 2nd from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Union United Methodist Church, 700 N. Post Road in Aberdeen, the local

    Harford County Chapter of the NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) will host a county-wide Affordable Care Act Health Forum.

    As we outreach to approximately 20,000 uninsured Harford County residents under the age of 65, our guest speakers will include:

    Marilyn Johnson,Harford Countys very own lead Navigator from the Maryland Health Connection (www.marylandhealthconnection.gov), SEEDCO, a partner for Marylands Health Benefit Exchange that manages health insurance access programs in the region, Representatives from the Harford Community Action Agency, Inc. and the Harford County Health Department, and Cheri Wilson, MA, MHS, CPHQ from the Hopkins Center for Health Disparities Solutions at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health

    Whether you are a single individual, already covered through Medicaid, a family, a small business owner, or friend obtaining information on behalf ofanother, it will be worth your while to attend. You will learn about the key provisions of the 2010 Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA), Eligibility

    for Coverage, County Enrollment Schedules, Health Disparities and other informative details to help you decide how to obtain access to affordable health care

Glossary of Health Coverage and Medical Terms9. Schedule of Countywide Enrollment Opportunities10. Health Disparities: Why Your Zip Code Is Such a Good Predictor of Your Health

    Materials will be available in English and Spanish and transportation is available. Seating is limited to 300 persons.
