I am directed to state that a Direct Recruitment examination for the post of Junior Engineer (erstwhile ITA)in BSNLfor the year 2015 from open market was conducted during the period 25/09/2016 to 29/09/2016. The 1 st Merit List was declared vide this officeletter of even no. dated 01/02/2017. The corrigendum was issued vide this office letter of even no. dated 13/02/2017. 'I 2. Circle-wise 2ndMerit List ofprovisionally selected candidates for appointment in the post. of Junior Engineer (Annexure) is prepared as per the response by circle for this officeletter of even no. dated 09/06/2017 & 19/06/2017 for the net va~ancy. The 2ndMerit List is forwarded for appointment it).the post of Junior Engineer along with their online application forms for further necessary action at your end. These Online application forms will form part ofthe dossier of the candidates. 3. The Junior Engineer (JE) is a Circle-based Cadre and the candidates would be selected against the vacancies ofa particular Circle.The first posting ofthe candidate shall be in the rural areas of the Circle for the minimum period of 5 (five)years. BSNLhas the right to post any selected Junior Engineer (JE)to any ofthe Circles either temporarily or on permanent basis. The decision of BSNLin this regard shall be final and binding. The service conditions, seniority etc. f selected candidates will be determined as per prevailing rules of the Company from time to time. 4. The 2 nd Merit List has been prepared on the basis of Circle-wise merit position of the Online examination held during the period 25/09/2016 to 29/09/'2016, as per the choice of Circle given by the provisionally selected candidates and as per the category-wise (OC,OBC, SC, ST, PWDand Ex-Serviceman) for the net vacancy position available in the respective Circles. 5. The concerned Circles are, therefore, requested to issue offer of appointments to the provisionally selected candidates for the post ofJunior Engineer (erstwhile ITA)in BSNL.In case of any non-acceptance of offer of appointment on the part of any candidate or found ineligible for the said post during scrutiny, the matter may be immediately brought to the notice of 'l'~))~

2. Circle-wise 2ndMerit List of provisionally selected candidates for appointment in the post.of Junior Engineer (Annexure) is prepared as per the response by circle for this office letter ofeven no. dated 09/06/2017 & 19/06/2017 for the net va~ancy. The 2ndMerit List is forwardedfor appointment it).the post of Junior Engineer along with their online application forms forfurther necessary action at your end. These Online application forms will form part of the dossierof the candidates.

3. 6. All candidates who have been provisionally selected 'may be asked to produce theiroriginal documents relating to. the following for verification in accordance with theAdvertisement/Notification issued for the aforesaid Direct Recruitment examination, as per theexisting norms/guidelines :-

i) Educational Qualificationsil) Ageiii) MedicalFitness Certificateiv) Category Certificate in respect ofOBC/SC/ST candidatesv) MedicalCertificate in respect of PWDcandidatesvi) Discharge Certificate in respect of Ex-Servicemancandidates

7. The document verification of 2nd Merit List candidates shall be completed within 30 - 40days as per norms. The tentative date for sending for induction training would be 14.08.2017.

8. Extension of time to candidates may not be granted ordinarily. However, in exception cases,e tension can be given up to 15 days by the Circle.

9. Allrecruiting Circles should ensure that DRJE vacancy, as notified vide letter no 7-1/2016-RECTI dated 24/06/2016 is to be filled up with due care. In case, any discrepancy is found at laterstage, sole responsibility shall remain with CircleAdministration.
