*Volunteers must be 18 and up to volunteer at FANA. Ambassadors for

Prosperity will host volunteers 16 who travel with a designated adult chaperone.

Participants under 18 may still visit FANA but will volunteer at Colombianitos.

~Leticia travel for 4 or 6 week programs only. Villa de Leyva travel for 6 week

program only.

The Ambassadors for Prosperity (AFP) program understands that FANA creates families by connecting Colombian children with loving parents.

Now, AFP will give children and their families the opportunity to give back to FANA by participating in a unique volunteer program.

The Foundation for the Support of Abandoned Children (FANA) is dedicated to the comprehensive protection of children. In FANA, family systems are strengthened to turn them into guarantors of the children rights, so that children can develop their potential and find happiness within a family. FANA is a private social institution and non-profit organization.

The mission of Heart for Change, Colombia Volunteer Program is to provide support to social impact projects through volunteer programs. Through its programs, HFC aims to create ambassadors who can change the image of Colombia internationally and to support vulnerable populations through partnerships with local organizations. Founded in 2010 by a group of philanthropic Colombians, Heart for Change is a registered non-profit with offices in Bogota, Colombia. Founded in 2001 by Colombians living in Atlanta, Georgia, Colombianitos is a nonprofit organization that improves the life of children, youth, and communities through sports, recreation, education, and health. Colombianitos works with 4,300 children in six communities of Colombia. Their programs, Goals for a Better Life, a Rehabilitation Program, and Youth Advancement motivate children to acquire an education and build strong values and life skills to become healthy, productive individuals. Through these children, Colombianitos programs help transform vulnerable communities.
