INTRODUCTIONThe University Mohammed the First, the Faculty of Sciences and tech-niques of AL Hoceima, Morocco, organizes the 2nd General Assembly for the African Seismological Commission (2AfSC2018). This General Assem-bly is an interdisciplinary platform for researchers interested in seismo-logical studies within Africa to promote a multi-sectoral and collabora-tive scientific sessions ranging from seismic monitoring, seismotecto-nics and, seismic hazard to education and outreach. Researchers are invited to submit their abstracts or complete papers in English. Papers will be presented in different oral and poster sessions.

It is therefore expected that authors are able to present their research more or less fluently in the English language.
Exceptions could be made if the documentation / presentation is clear enough in English
POSTER GUIDELINES
Poster size cannot exceed A0 size (118.4 cm. high x 84.1 cm wide, vertical orientation)
Title should be placeed clearly at the top of the poster to allow viewers to easily identify your paper.
Prepare all diagrams or charts neatly and legibly beforehand, in a size sufficient to be read at a distance of 1.5–2.0 metres.

The conference organizers will establish a special issue in the Euro-Mediterranean Journal for Environ-mental Integration dedicated to the 2nd General Assembly for the African Seismological Commission (2AfSC2018) for which the theme is covering a variety of topics related to seismological studies.The main target is to gather quality research contribu-tions in the most recent advancements in this field of sciences. From highly rated papers, the organizers will select the top papers and invite the authors to submit a substantially extended version of their papers for possible consideration in the special issues.Euro-Mediterranean Journal for Environmen-

ANIMATORS
Radar interferometry is a satellite observation technique with applications in geophysical fields as varied as volcano-logy, seismology, glaciology, Urban subsidence and landslide. In urban environment, it makes it possible to characte-rize the vertical deformations of the soil of small amplitude (typically from a few millimeters to a few centimeters) over large areas.The duration of the Practical Training on Radar interferometry and its applications is ten days. A Presential training of one Day (face-to-face) and nine days of distance training via e-learning platform (http://rifgeomatique.com/moo-dle/ ) and GOOGLE DOCS technology (Collaborative online work).

ANIMATORS
The preparation of a seismotectonic map is a multidisciplinary task that requires the definition of scientific and technical characteristics, and data collection that allows the analysis of seismically active zones. A well structured database in seismicity (instrumental an historical), tectonics, geodesy, remote sensing and geophysics, is necessary.The 1-day school in seismotectonics will take place on Thursday 26 April and consists in short courses with computer-aided practices using the database of the seismotectonic map of Africa. The courses include applications for the seismic hazard assement using updated softwares

BRIEF HISTORY
Al-Hoceima is a great place to spend a few days. Quiet, safe, relaxing and hassle-free, this modern seaside resort is full of proud and genial Berbers with a surprisingly independent outlook that's far more Western than any other town in the north.
