African Wild Dogs live in grasslands in Namibia, Botswana, and South Africa. African Wild Dogs do not migrate. African Wild Dogs live in arid areas.

The African Wild Dog eats Gazelles, Warthogs, and Rodents. The African Wild Dogs sneak up on prey. African Wild Dogs hunt in packs of 12 or less members.

PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS

An African Wild Dog is brown, white, and black. It has large ears and 4 toes. It weighs 75 pounds. It is 2-3 feet tall. It is 43 inches long.

1. A female can give birth to a litter of 5 pups!

2. A full-grown can run 50 MPH!3. It can climb 5 feet up trees!4. It is a carnivore, so it only eats meat, meat, MEAT!5. Although African Wild Dogs do not migrate, a lot of the food they eat does!6. Cubs play-fight, and that teaches them to hunt.7. There are only about 4000 African Wild Dogs left!8. When a male is angry, it will show its teeth and snarl.9.
