Who is Abeke?

• Her spirit animal is Uraza, the leopard.

In This Book…

In this book Abeke and her fellow friends, Meilin, Conor and Rollan, head to the Hundred Isles to collect another magical talisman. This time they need the Coral Octopus from Mulop, the giant octopus. The Green Cloaks need to be cautious though because there is a mole within their troops.

Abeke and UrazaAbeke is a trained warrior. Uraza, her spirit, increases her abilities as a hunter.

Bow and Arrows

Abeke is a trained hunter in Nilo. The animals that she hunted require to be shot from a distance. Animals, such as gazelles, are hard to kill from close up.

Abeke has saved her friends multiple times with her bow.

The Granite Ram

The Granite Ram is a talisman that allows you to jump and move faster and higher.

Abeke is already a good athlete and Uraza increases her hunting skills. So, having the Granite Ram makes her the strongest player of the team.

The Slate Elephant

The Slate Elephant is a talisman that makes your spirit animal the size of a house.

This talisman is shared with all the Green Cloaks. However, Uraza is the largest of the spirit animals without the talisman. So, when they need size, the Green Cloaks turn to Abeke.

A Green Cloak

Abeke is a member of the organization known as “The Green Cloaks”. Her green cloak is a symbol of her belonging.

When people see a green cloak on somebody, they start to respect them or, if they’re the bad guys, attack them.

A Satchel

Abeke is constantly on the move and she can’t afford to carry a big bag everywhere. A satchel is the only bag small enough to carry all her stuff. E.g. The Granite Ram, A notebook, The Slate Elephant, etc, etc.

A Bunch of Banana Gourd Seeds

Banana Gourd Seeds are the only cure for “The Sunset Death”. The disease is put into your blood stream via a mosquito bite.

In a previous book, one of Abeke’s friends caught this virus. They cured him but it would make sense if she carried Banana Gourd Seeds just in case.

Uraza’s Tattoo

A spirit animal can be put into a passive state when needed. Passive state is when the spirit animal turns into a tattoo.

Uraza doesn’t like water, so when the Green Cloaks are trying to find a giant octopus, Abeke keeps her in passive form quite often.

Abeke’s Notebook

Abeke is constantly on the move and there is a lot of information to take in. In Abeke’s quiet moments she is most likely to write down the information so that she can remember it.

A Dagger

If ever Abeke’s bow and arrows fail her, and the enemy gets to close, she resorts to her dagger. Even though this scenario is rare, Abeke always carries a dagger just in case.

Bead Necklace

Abeke’s village has a certain culture to it. Even though Abeke is obviously a hunter, people overlook that due to the fact that she is a woman.

She must wear beads all the time otherwise she might disrespect her tribe.
