To approve order authorizing the addition of a caseworker position for the City ofDallas HOME grant with funding available through the grant's administrativeallocation, authorizing the position to be reviewed by the Personnel Departmentfor appropriate classification and presented to the Civil Service Commission forapproval, and stipulating that the current eligibility specialist position funded bythis grant (position #264) will be deleted upon its vacancy by the incumbent.

22. COURT ORDER:

To approve order approving the extension of the contract with Scott & WhiteLaboratory Services for the period from January 1, 2000 through March 31,2000 at a cost not to exceed $1,000.00 for services supporting the County'sdrug and alcohol testing program for safety sensitive employee positionsregulated by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).

23. COURT ORDER:

To approve order authorizing the Elections van to be ordered as an LEV 1 TonCargo Van, and the Sheriff's Fugitive vans to be ordered as Fords instead ofChevrolets.

To approve order authorizing the solicitation of competitive bids for demolitionwork and a new HVAC system for the Personnel Department Relocation andRenovation Project and authorizing total project funding in the amount of$250,999.

To approve order authorizing Commissioner of District No.2 to cooperate withthe City of Mesquite in improvements to Faithon P. Lucas, Sr. Boulevard, fromMcKenzie Road to Cartwright Road, for a total estimated cost of $89,046.13,and authorizing the County Judge to execute the Interlocal Agreement for thisType "B" road work.

To approve order authorizing Commissioner of District No.4 to cooperate withthe Dallas County Independent School District (DCISD) in improvements to theDCISD parking lot located at 12728 Garden Grove Drive, Dallas, in an amount notto exceed $3,500 as an exchange for a 72-passenger bus, and authorizing theCounty Judge to execute the Interlocal Agreement to that effect.
