To approve order approving the extension of the contract with Scott & WhiteLaboratory Services for the period from January 1, 2000 through March 31,2000 at a cost not to exceed $1,000.00 for services supporting the County'sdrug and alcohol testing program for safety sensitive employee positionsregulated by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).

To approve order authorizing the Elections van to be ordered as an LEV 1 TonCargo Van, and the Sheriff's Fugitive vans to be ordered as Fords instead ofChevrolets.

To approve order approving Attachment #17 (HIV - Hepatitis C Virus) of theTexas Department of Health Contract #7560009056 2000 in the amounts of$1,585 (Travel), $2,146 (Supplies), and $3,994 (Other), and authorizing theCounty Judge to sign the contract on behalf of Dallas County.

25. COURT ORDER:

To approve order approving the application to participate in the USDACommodities program for the contract period from July 1, 2000 through June 30,2001, as part of the National School Lunch/Breakfast Program, and authorizingthe County Judge to sign the application and related documents on behalf ofDallas County.

To approve order authorizing the mowing services at Lorch Park to be managedby Road & Bridge District #4 by providing and maintaining the equipmentnecessary to perform the required mowing services and arranging for the LorchPark Caretaker to mow the Park on an "as needed" basis at a cost of $250.00per mowing.

To approve order authorizing the sole source purchase of concrete pipe fromHanson Pipe & Products, Inc. for a total estimated cost of $21,598.50 to be usedfor the Cockrell Hill Road flood relief repair project and funded by the City ofDeSoto.

To approve order authorizing the solicitation of competitive bids for demolitionwork and a new HVAC system for the Personnel Department Relocation andRenovation Project and authorizing total project funding in the amount of$250,999.

35. COURT ORDER:

To approve order authorizing Commissioner of District No.2 to cooperate withthe City of Mesquite in improvements to Faithon P. Lucas, Sr. Boulevard, fromMcKenzie Road to Cartwright Road, for a total estimated cost of $89,046.13,and authorizing the County Judge to execute the Interlocal Agreement for thisType "B" road work.

36. COURT ORDER:

To approve order authorizing Commissioner of District No.4 to cooperate withthe Dallas County Independent School District (DCISD) in improvements to theDCISD parking lot located at 12728 Garden Grove Drive, Dallas, in an amount notto exceed $3,500 as an exchange for a 72-passenger bus, and authorizing theCounty Judge to execute the Interlocal Agreement to that effect.

37. COURT ORDER:

To approve order authorizing the County Judge to execute Modification No.2, inthe increased amount of $27,000, to the Scope of Services of the consultingengineers contract with Albert H. Halff Associates, Inc. for design of the Belt LineRoad Project 490-403. 1/91-829.

To approve order authorizing the County Auditor to provide payment in theamount of $253,805.85 to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) forthe County's share of project costs for CSJ 0918-45-457 (CMAQ Project 74).
