In 2015 we had a total of 659 individual young people access our services with a total number of
contacts of 6203.
From January – April 2016 we have had a total of 423 individual young people access our services
with a total number of contacts of 2611.

- Year 6 transition (Tuesdays 4 - 5.30)- Girlzone Years 7-13 (Tuesdays 7-8.30)- Young Carers (Wednesdays 4-5.30)- LGBTQI - Year 7&8’s (Thursdays 4.00 - 5.30)- Boyszone Years 7-13 (Thursdays 7-8.30)- Years 10-13 (Friday 8 – 9.30)Thursdays – Detached Youth Work around
skatepark, Adastral & Trimley/Kirton villages
Other services we provide• Detached youth work• C-card sexual health advice• 1-to-1 mentoring• NEET – Job-search and CV-writing advice• Holiday Activities• Community Projects• Signposting to other agencies• Creative Art Room• I.T. – six computers for use by young people
Level Two continues to offer support and help Mot, who is one of our Young
Volunteers and enjoys helping behind the snack bar at our younger youth sessions.
One-to-one Compass Mentoring is proving to be a great support for
young people. A mentoring relationship does not rely solely on conversation, but activities that the
young people enjoy and hopefully find beneficial.

We have been offering services and support for students in Years 10 & 11 either at our youth hub or
out and about in the community

Our trained youth workers work closely with The School Nursing Team to offer ‘C’ Card sexual health and wellbeing advice.
We offer the use of our 17 seater minibus.
Students from the Academy benefit from our one-to-one mentoring service.
Some vulnerable pupils benefit from one to one tutoring at our youth hub.
The Academy supports our Transition to High School programme for Year 6s.

Felixstowe International College students have enjoyed social time at our
youth hub and trips out with us too
We have been working with all 7 junior schools
in Felixstowe and Trimleys to
offer support
Year 6 Transition to High School
before they move up to High School.The young people love the sessions
and give it the ‘thumbs up!’

Awards 2015
This award was open to groups that had shown an understanding of community needs and worked to have a positive impact on the residents and/or businesses within their community.
We were proudly the group WINNER in this category.
C-Card Scheme for those in school year 9 and above.
Condom demonstration and sexual health advice working in partnership with Terrence Higgins Trust and school nursing team.Level Two won awards in 2015 & 2016 for being the highest number of registration in a youth group setting

been helping out painting at the youth
hub. He also helps behind the coffee bar during
Year 6 sessions and has participated in Princes
Trust programme.

"The Honest Truth" road safety is working to reduce the number of people killed or seriously injured on the roads.
Level Two together with the Road Safety Team at S.C.C. have been working in Felixstowe Academy with Year 11 students, and also at Level Two with our L8Nite session.
The photo shows a ‘reactions’ fun interactive device which the young people took part in.
