BOARD AND EXCO COMMITTEE
Thank you to all the members giving time and effort to the
IPTGSA for the last 2 years
FEEDBACK FOR THE LAST YEAR.
• AGM 2017 was the official launch of IPTGSA
• Roadshows have been held in Johannesburg , Cape Town and
Port Elizabeth
• First Tourist guide Indaba was held at Workshop 17 in Cape town
with a total of 18 people attending.
• IPTGSA were represented at WTM 2017 and will endeavour to be
an exhibiter in the future
• 42 CPD programs were presented where members could earn
credits
• NDT Stakeholder forums and NDT Research feedbacks attended
• Regular Committee meetings have been held and to save cost
Skype meetings are now order of the day between our OPEN
based offices
• Complete online based organisation with members contributing
as and when required
• Ongoing media campaign with Travel News Now

19 - Applications approved awaiting Panel interviews

FINANCIAL REPORT
1. IPTGSA completely dependant
on membership fees .
2. Member tardiness in paying fees
3. Fixed cost in office space,
auditing and advertising
4. Travelling by committee
sponsored out of own pocket
5. Lack of cash flow curbs
outreach for new members

be made to keep the IPTGSA
afloat financially and a lot
depends on decisions
forthcoming from the NDT

GENERAL
� Committee is doing a stellar job in keeping IPTGSA going
� Very little direct support from members in
� Attending meetings
� Recruiting new members and spreading the word
� Attending CPD courses
� Keeping logbooks updated
� Participating in online running of IPTGSA via the
website
� We have to be positive in our decisions and see the
process we have started 4 years ago to organise and own
our industry
ONLINE VOTING
• The nature of our work dictates when and where we work and the
committee understands fully that members cannot always be where
meetings and AGM’s are held .The online voting is been pioneered and
has been decided on to try and get all members in on the voting process.
• Members of the Board and EXCO has a term of 2 years to keep the ball
rolling and then a vote is called for as to prevent stagnation, and have
input from all members
• Nominations were requested and a few new names have been received
• Online voting has been open for 1 week prior to the AGM with links
emailed to all members eligible to vote
