Naveen etc. Priming the seed with water for 24hrs after that keep
the seed in gunny bag for 12 to 24hrs for incubation. Small quantity of NPK and well decomposed FYM/ vermicompost
may be applied according to size of the bed (recommended
dosage 5tonnes per ha). Treat the seed with Carbendazim/
Bavistin @2gm per kg of seed. After sowing cover the bed with
the net to protect from birds.

Banana Land
Preparation
This is the best time for planting of Banana. Banana roots are delicate and succulent so they need well pulverized and fine tilth
soil. Pits may be prepared of size 60 X 60 X 45 cm. Pits may be filled with soil mixture of half to one kg of neem cake and 5 to
10kg well decomposed FYM/ compost. As it is often raining, no
additional irrigation may be needed. Avoid planting during heavy rain. But light rain after planting is beneficial. 400 to 500
plants depending upon the variety may be needed for one kani of
land.

Mango Harvesting
Harvest the fruit and market it.
Cattle All stages
Cattle shed should be disinfected by fumigation and white
washing of walls with lime. Avoid grazing of animal at rain.
Poultry All stages Coccidiosis
disease
To protect the birds from Coccidiosis disease, litter should be kept dry and hygienic, clean water should be provided to the
birds, balanced diet with sufficient minerals may be provided.
The disease is contagious; hence the infected birds may kept in isolation. Poultry shed must be cleaned periodically if possible
with phenyl solution.
- ,
Fish Span stage
Sufficient water is available in the pond due to heavy rain in previous days. Apply lime in the pond after checking the pH. If
the pH falls below 6.5, liming should be done @ 50kg/ha.

Banana Land
Preparation
This is the best time for planting of Banana. Banana roots are delicate and succulent so they need well pulverized and fine tilth
soil. Pits may be prepared of size 60 X 60 X 45 cm. Pits may be
filled with soil mixture of half to one kg of neem cake and 5 to 10kg well decomposed FYM/ compost. As it is often raining, no
additional irrigation may be needed. Avoid planting during
heavy rain. But light rain after planting is beneficial. 400 to 500
plants depending upon the variety may be needed for one kani of
land.
