The new Agroplus Series of compact trac-tors from Deutz-Fahr has all of the fea-tures you need for full-time work at an eco-nomical price tag.

Leading the way are 3- or 4-cylinder SDFengines, renowned for their stingy fuelconsumption and reliability. These EPA-certified diesel engines feature individualhigh-pressure injectors for each cylinder.The transmission range is geared to avariety of field needs, while the powerfulhydraulic system with 2200 psi (150 bar)has a lift capacity of 7,900 pounds (3600kg), and optional front hitch capacity of3,850 pounds (1750 kg).

Agroplus StandardAgroplus tractors come standardequipped with such features as a fully syn-chronized 20F/10R transmission withmechanical shuttle, 4-wheel drive, PTOwith wet clutch, two rear remotes, air-rideseats in cab models, true 4-wheel brakingand optional front 3-point hitch and PTO.

Agroplus InverserFor inverser models, you get the 30F/15RPowershuttle transmission with wetclutch, left-hand hydraulic reverser forclutch-free direction changing, plus theconvenient and time-saving Stop & Gomaneuvering aid. Agroplus StandardThe Synchrosplit transmission is fully syn-chronized, has 20 forward and 10 reversegears, and features a fully synchronizedmechanical shuttle reverser.

The Synchrosplit reverse transmission isequipped with a hydrostatic, self-adjustingengaging (master/slave design) dry clutch.It has a practical graduation of the mainworking range with 11 speeds. Shiftingthrough these synchronized speeds issmooth and easy.

Agroplus Inverser with Stop & GoA special feature of this tractor class isthe wet clutch, fully synchronized power-shuttle transmission with 30 forward and15 reverse speeds, and clutchless,hydraulic power reverser.

This allows the operator to electrohy-draulically shift gears under load with 12different speeds in the 2.5- to 9.3-mph

(4–15 km/h) field operating range. Whena slow ground speed is needed, the oper-ator can select speeds from .12 to .7 mph(.20–1.17 km/h).

ECO SpeedThe 30/15 transmissions are equippedwith ECO speed transmissions — anunusual feature for a tractor in this class.

With the electronic engine governor andthe transmission controller workingtogether, the engine speed is lowered to1850 rpm at 25 mph (40 km/h), makingAgroplus one of the most economical,high-speed tractors in its class.

Excellent Weight DistributionAgroplus 67–87 tractors have a high horse-power-to-weight ratio. Combining horsepow-er, vehicle weight and front-to-rear weightsplit, these tractors can handle large imple-ments, even in soft soils. For further trac-tion, the front of the tractor can be ballast-ed with up to 1,056 pounds (480 kg); therear wheels can be ballasted with up to440 pounds (200 kg) on each side.

100% Power TransmissionThe claw differential locks in the front andrear axles are engaged and disengagedelectrohydraulically at the push of a button.They offer 100% power transmission foroptimum traction.

Front Hydraulics Available on all-wheel drive tractors, power-ful front hydraulics with a lift capacity of3,850 pounds (1750 kg) are available as anoption. They can also be field-installed.

The front, Category 2, 3-point hitch is fullyintegrated into the tractor and won’t restrictthe steering angle on the front wheels.

The tractor can also be ordered with a 6-spline, 1000-rpm, driven PTO shaft.

High Pressure, High StrengthYou can rely on powerful Agroplus hy-draulics, regardless of whether you areusing the front and/or rear hydraulics. Bothsystems are characterized by their high lift-ing capacities of up to 7,900 pounds (3600kg) at the rear and 3,850 pounds (1750kg) on the front hydraulics.

These tractors come equipped with a stur-dy, Category 2, 3-point linkage, rear actua-

tion and quick couplers for quick and easyimplement mounting. With a pump capacityof up to 14.2 gpm (54 L/min.), the systempower is geared to a wide range of applica-tions. A separate hydraulic pump providesfor the hydrostatic steering system.

Additional Hydraulic Remote ValvesThe hydraulic system in the Agroplus hasup to three double-action remote valves.The flow control system enables the flowrate through the third remote valve to beinfinitely varied, via a knob in the cab, from.8 to 11 gpm (3–42 L/min.). The remain-ing volume is available for simultaneoususe by the other additional remote valvesor the 3-point hitch for parallel operation,even in the 60- to 80-hp class.

PTOsThe full range of PTO equipment with stan-dard speeds of 540 rpm at the rear, com-bined with the 1000-rpm front PTO makethese tractors extraordinarily versatile forany application. Speeds are selected frominside the cab.

Both front- and rear PTOs feature wet,multi-disc clutches, have pushbutton andmodulated engagement to reduce imple-

ment driveline stress at startup, and have abrake applied in the “off” position.

Ground-Speed PTO A ground-speed PTO is available for specialapplications such as transplanters. It oper-ates independently of the front- or rearPTO. The PTO speed is determined by thetransmission speed and is always in fixedrelation to the respective rear wheel rota-tion. If the tractor moves forward, the shaft

turns clockwise in the direction of travel andif the tractor reverses, the shaft turnscounterclockwise in the direction of travel.

Fast, Daily MaintenanceAll important components and assembliescan be easily reached for servicing withoutthe need for tools. A sight glass shows thelevel of the transmission/hydraulic oil. Theengine oil can be checked without openingthe cowling.

Economical and Trouble-FreeThe Agroplus is incredibly economical tooperate due to its low maintenance costsand long service intervals.

The engine oil needs to be changed justevery 300 hours or once a year. All servicepoints such as the air filter or battery canbe accessed without tools.
