The Holographic Museum of Lost CitiesBuilding is a new architectural landmark inAbuDhabi. Using the concept of decon-structivism, the building was designed tocreate the best exhibition spaces thatcould host holographic displays. Besidethe main exhibition halls, other spacescreated with the best architecturalsolutions possible, to allow the visitors,students and employees to have the bestexperience during their time in thebuilding. From the name of the project, thetwo main terms, Hologram and lost cities,can tell the whole story of the concept and

Idea. Because the museum is about lostcities, the main concept of the project isinspired by deconstructive architecturetheory, as well as the idea of light ray of thehologram while traveling through mirrors.Based on that, the main forms of thebuilding are designed. There are 4 mainirregular shapes with sharp turns, just likethe light of the hologram, that are linkedwith each other in an irregular way. Theseshapes are simple and do not continueeach other, but a continues circulationpath is created between them, creating a

journey that makes the visitors search forthese cities. This combination of decon-structivism, simplicity and irregularity,creates an eye-catcher architectural andartistic landmark in the area.

The client asked for two different proposals for a Building

that consists of 2 Commercial floors + 5 Residential

Floors in Sharjah. The first proposal has modern Facade,

and the other proposal has Classical Facade. The propos-

als were designed and drawn by me.
