Q. What is timeshare? A. Timeshare is a form of holiday ownership that describes a method of use and its ownership of a particular property. It normally allows you to use the property

for a certain period of time each year. You pay an initial investment for the timeshare and then you will pay a maintenance fee each year for the upkeep of the timeshare properties.

Q. What is Annual maintenance fees? A. Maintenance fees are the costs involved to operate the resort. This fee is divided up amongst all resort owners. A portion of the maintenance fee is to build

up reserves to pay for the non-recurring costs like furniture and appliances. A reserve is also typically set up to pay for other capital costs incurred because of physical deterioration. When a developer is still selling in a resort the fees may be subsidized and are subject to increase after the homeowner association takes over the association. Some states regulate how much is kept in reserve for future spending.

Q. What fees are involved in buying timeshare? A. The fee includes initial purchase of the timeshare, membership transfer fee, annual maintenance fee, exchange fees, guest certificate fee etc.

Q. What is "demand time"/ “season” in timeshare?A. Demand times are depicted by the exchange companies in colors. RCI color codes are red, white and blue pertaining to exchanging during certain times of

the year for each resort based on how high the demand is for time of year. Red = Greater Demand, White = Average Demand, Blue = Lesser Demand

Q. What is an exchange? A. An exchange is the depositing of your week with an exchange and then the requesting of a week to use in place of the week you are depositing. The

exchange company does not have to find someone to use your week before they will give you an exchange. Once you deposit the week you are done with it. It is very important to deposit your week early to have more power with your week. Each exchange company has slightly different rules for exchanging. There is a fee involved in exchanging your week.

Q. How do I exchange with RCI If I am a week's member?A. As a member of C3-week powered by RCI, you are automatically a member of RCI. If you want to travel to an RCI-affiliated resort that does not

participate in week system, you may request an RCI Point Exchange to the property. The RCI weeks Resort Reservation Grids in the week Directory provide a guide to the number of weeks you will need to book a particular season and size of unit. When you are ready to make the reservation, simply call to check availability.

Q. What sizes of accommodation are available? A. Timeshare accommodations are quite varied - sized as small as a hotel room / studio room to a 2 bedroom unit.

Q. How does the week system work?A. The week system offers maximum flexibility. You can Bank it, Swap it, Gift it, Transfer it or Will it as per your requirements.

Q. What if want to send a friend or family to use my reservation?A. Your reservation can be given to anyone you wish. For a nominal fee you can purchase a Guest certificate which allows your friends and/or family to holiday

against your reservation. Guests must be at least 18 years old. Some resorts may have higher age requirements.

Q. How do I let you know that I want to save weeks?A. If weeks have not been used by the end of the Use year in which they were allocated, they will automatically be saved onto the next USE year.

Q. What happens to the weeks once they are saved?A. Once weeks are saved, they will expire at the end of the Use Year into which they were saved. Weeks that have been saved, may be borrowed back to avail

holidays.

Q. What happens if I am unable to use my saved weeks? Will they expire?A. Yes, however, when you make your weeks reservations, the weeks you have saved will be used up first. This means that your most recent week(s)

allocations will only be used after your saved week(s) have been utilized. If you are unable to use all your saved weeks in the year they are due to expire, you can extend them for a further year for a small fee.
