March 4, 2015 – Depart from USAToday we’ll leave home behind as we board our overnightinternational flight to Dublin.

March 5, 2015 – Dublin City Tour, St. Patrick’s Cathedral Our local representatives will meet us at the Dublin airport. We beginour journey this morning with a stop at St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Thechurch was transitioned from a Catholic church to the Church ofIreland over the centuries. Jonathan Swift, author of Gulliver’s Travelsand a critic of British rule, was a pastor here. John Wesley spoke andadministered communion here on one of his numerous visits toIreland. Travel on to Phoenix Park. Once a private park only for titledgentry, it now serves the public as both a recreational venue andhome to the Dublin Zoo. After a short driving tour of Dublin, we willcheck in to our hotel for some down time before dinner.

March 6, 2015– Trinity College (Book of Kells), Glendalough

We will start our day in Dublin with a walking tour of Trinity College.Founded by Queen Elizabeth I in 1592, it is the oldest college in Ireland.We’ll visit the Old Library here and see the Book of Kells, an ornatelyillustrated Bible produced by Celtic monks around 800 AD. Then it’s onto the bus for a ride through scenic Wicklow County to PowerscourtGardens, part of a large country manor built in the 1700s. From herewe will make our way to Glendalough, one of the most beautiful spotsin all of Ireland. Here St. Kevin founded a monastery in 498. See CelticHigh Crosses and a stone roofed church, as well as the wonderfulhiking trails around the two lakes. Return to Dublin to our hotel fordinner and overnight.

March 7, 2015 – Rock of Cashel, Cobh, Kinsale We depart Dublin for southern Ireland. We'll see the Rock of Cashel,the traditional seat of Irish kings. Here St. Patrick is thought to haveconverted the King of Munster. The present ruins are from structuresbuilt in the 12th and 13th centuries during the Norman era. In Cobh,we will visit the Heritage Center. From this port between 1845 and1860, 2.5 million people sailed to America. If you have an ancestorwho came from Ireland to America, chances are they departed fromthis very place. Find your family name on the archived passengerlists. We will finish our day in the port city of Kinsale and take a tripto the famed Charles Fort, one of the finest examples of a 17thcentury Star Fort. See the Norman French inscriptions in St. MultroseChurch which was built in 1190 and remains in use to this day. Thecourthouse was used for the inquiry over the sinking of the Lusitaniain 1915.

March 8, 2015 – Kinsale, Blarney, Kenmare This morning we will enjoy a walking tour of Kinsale. Then we’lltravel to Cork to visit Blarney Castle and Blarney Woolen Mills Shop.At the Castle of Blarney, we will see the fabled Blarney Stone. Legendsays that those who kiss the stone acquire a gift of eloquence. Visitthe town of Kenmare. A 5‐minute walk from town takes us to one ofthe hundreds of stone circles that can be found in Ireland. Theseceremonial sites date back as far as 5,000 BC. We will finish the dayin Killarney, where we'll check into our hotel for dinner andovernight.

t of IrelandMarch 9, 2015 – Adare, Bunratty Castle, Cliffs of MoherToday we will enjoy the beauty of the thatch‐roofed streets ofAdare. The church here has a Norman castle keep at its center. Wewill travel through the enchanting Irish countryside, an ever‐changing patchwork of green and dotted with ruins, to BunrattyCastle. Near the town of Limerick, Bunratty is Ireland’s mostcomplete and authentically furnished medieval castle. As we travelthrough the Burren Region, we'll arrive at the Cliffs of Moher,sheer cliffs dropping 600 feet to the water below, on one of themost impressive stretches of shoreline on the west coast of Ireland.The eroded limestone rock through the Burrens has flowerspopping up through the crevices. We'll continue on to the ancientport city of Galway, where we will check into our hotel for dinnerand overnight.

March 10, 2015 – Connemara, Kylemore Abbey, KnockThis morning we will visit the Connemara Region, famous for itsrugged scenery. The National Park consists of 5,000 acres whereponies and Irish red deer roam freely. The scenic mountains, bogsand grasslands are a feast for the eyes, and the region is worldfamous for its green and white marble. We'll stop at beautifulKylemore Abbey run by the Benedictine Nuns. This granite andlimestone structure is one of most photographed buildings in thecountry. Continue to the town of Knock and visit theinternatiionally recognized Marian Shrine known as Knock Shrine.One and a half million pilgrims visit the Shrine annually. We willreturn to our hotel in Galway for dinner and overnight.

March 11, 2015 – Clonmacnoise, Malahide Castle, DublinToday we visit Clonmacnoise, an important monastic site and theburial place of kings. Among these fascinating ruins is the famousthousand‐year‐old cross and the most important collection oftombstones in the country. Explore the cathedral or some of theeight churches. There are two round towers to capture yourimagination. Three High Crosses, two hundred graves and the ruinsof a 13th century ring‐fort also remain. But it is the 10‐foot SouthCross, with its Passion carvings, that testifies to the high level ofartistic excellence of that day. We continue across the island toMalahide Castle, set on 250 acres of parkland in the pretty seasidetown of Malahide, which was both a fortress and a private homefor nearly eight hundred years. The Talbot family lived here from1185 to 1973, when the last Lord Talbot died. The house isfurnished with beautiful period furniture together with anextensive collection of Irish portrait paintings, mainly from theNational Gallery. Look across the harbor at Dublin from Howth.Then we check in for one last night in Dublin.

AIRLINE ROUTES and TICKETSIn order to keep prices low, ETS does not guarantee the most direct routing to your finaldestination. Airtransportation to/from your destination will be economy class on IATA and ARC carriers utilizingAPEX or SUPER APEX non-refundable, non-amendable tickets for groups of 10 or more flyingtogether on entire itinerary.

FLIGHT TIMESAll flight times are subject to change by the airlines without advance notice. ETS is notresponsible for such changes or delays and does not reimburse expenses resulting fromsuch delays. If making own flight arrangements to departure city, we recommend you purchasea ticket which can be changed without large penalties.

ITINERARY CHANGESEvery effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of this brochure. While you will see all siteslisted above, the order of sites and/or days and number of days may be altered to accommodatechanges in airline, hotel schedules, and local conditions. Due to airline schedules, someparticipants may receive one or two extra leisure days at a nominal per day charge and someextensions may not be available on all departure dates.
