AIESEC FOR MEXICO

Why  Mexico?  

We, as AIESEC in Mexico, are becoming an Entity that not only is growing operational wise but also, having the relevance inside the Global Network for all types of innovation inside our processes but something that is highly lacking in terms of implementation is the LEAD strategy since the biggest bottleneck we are currently facing is actually helping our Network understand why it is so important to apply it inside our operations to give a better experience to our customers in terms of leadership development.

Since we know how important it is to move forward with LEAD, AIESEC in Mexico will be investing on two MC members to assist to GLC 2016 in order to drive this strategy forward and we will be measuring the success of LEAD implemetation firstly, throughtout the understanding of our membership and developing a clean framework on how they can begin to apply it in our operations hoping we not only have a boost in exchange but also, focus on better strategies for leadership development. Finally, in the next few pages you can find how we are focusing in some strategies of value delivery..

The solution we found to ensuring EPs are the most prepared for their project and are aware of their Leadership Development journey are a better OPS focused around the Entity Cooperations and an agenda developed to deliver an inner and outer journey. The MC is working together with the OGX network to co-create a framework and agenda, and then LCs will be able to become "OPS Certified" to ensure they go through the training to deliver a better OPS for our customers

“Tu Historia” is the fundamental solution to enable EPs to showcase their own story using three main activities which involve: writing, picture taking and video making. We prepare them to gain a powerful awareness on why is it so important for them to be sending out this type of material. For more information visit: http://aiesec.org.mx/tuhistoria

The solution we found to showcase LDM in the EP’s experience is through the collection of testimonials from our local offices. By providing them with sample questions, we build a personal story that highligths the LDM quality that the EP developed the most, thus creating a series of videos on each quality.

We make sure the Trainee is placed in a buddy system with someone who is mentor/supervisor inside the enabler part, who has detailed information on what needs to be tracked each week or biweekly not only regarding personal development but professional as well since we inform the mentor the results of the LDA and what needs to be the growth path for the trainee.

Each IPS agenda is carefully reviewed by the Customer Experience team to make sure content is not only purposeful and significant but also, will enable trainees to start the experience in the best space. Also, we make sure all IPS have at least one person certified in a national level involved in the creation and delivery of IPS agendas
