So I will go straight to the point. You already know the usual statement,AIESEC will challenge you . Well I want you to look at it this way , what doyou want to challenge AIESEC in Ethiopia in ?. If you are looking for asense of adventure in trial – fail – trial –success – trial loop and you arethe type who lives in each moment , good and bad, easy and frustrating .Then , proceed on to the next pages.

This is an entity where you can test and be tested on your adaptabilityplus capability. Re-inventing yourself each time, a selfish sensibility it mayseem. Not quite ,In all honesty I prefer a team full of people who knowthemselves because that is the only way you will influence over 40 millionyouth in Ethiopia. Lets start with the 200,000 students we can reachthrough the current Lcs and expansions.

AIESEC in Ethiopia was founded in 2008 by cooperation betweenAIESEC Italy and KPMG Italy, with the support of GTZ and variousAIESEC Alumni from AIESEC International Network in Ethiopia AIESECbegan official operations in Ethiopia in 2011, after being recognizedand registered as an Ethiopian Society under the Ministry of Justice,Agency of charities and society.

AIESEC in Ethiopia has 4 Local Committees and 2 expansion initiatives:1. LC Addis Ababa University [Faculty of Social Science, Business

and Economics, Law, Technology Campus]2. LC EiABC – Ethiopian Institute of Architecture Building

MC LIFE

MC Team will live together in MC flat in Addis Ababa – accommodation isprovided at Lideta Condominium (Background Image).

MC office is set in Addis Ababa, EiABC – 15 min walk, internetinfrastructure is provided. MC members receive a stipend to cover basicssuch as food and transportation for work related meetings and activities(subject to current reality as at the time of selection.)

Travel and Fees for National Conferences organized in Ethiopia areprovided by MC budget. Expenses for travel and fees to InternationalConferences [IC, Pioneers, XPROs, other regional and internationalconferences] will be covered by AIESEC Ethiopia budget according tofunds availability in Conferences Fund.

Vacation days will be defined by the team at the beginning of the term.

The AIESEC in Ethiopia term is officially starting 1st July 2016 and ending30th June 2017. MCVPes are required to be in Addis Ababa by 23rd ofMay 2016. Transition with the current MCVPs starts immediately afterMCVP selection.

MC team/ planning days are covered 4 times a year.

Office time is Monday to Friday, work on weekends can happen duringconferences and extra activities.

The MCVP OD & TM is responsible for the general growth, development and evolution of the organization. By gathering informationon all the organizational levels he/she in charge of proposing the best ways to ensure balanced and healthy growth of LCs. As a TLhe/she is responsible as well for the alignment of the MCVPs in the delivery of their operations. The MCVP TM & OD is alsoresponsible for the talent capacity strategies in order to achieve and foster the ELD programmes. Through the implementation ofteam standards and with stronger synergies with all the areas he/she should make the organization faster and bigger.

The MCVPIGCDP is responsible for driving the Programme growth by representing andexecuting the most advanced strategies for the area. This responsible is also in charge of IRstrategy and cooperation among different AIESEC Entities. Analysing all the National Issuesand creating projects that impact the Ethiopian Society the most all fall under thisdepartment.

1. Clear communication and implementation of IGCDP Strategies together with LCVPIGCDPs2. Coaching and management of LCVPs and NSTs3. Innovation and Process Optimisation4. Mapping together with MCVPOD and LC contribution to National plan5. Execution of IR Strategies6. Data analysis and Strategy creation with OD and BD based on Organisational evolution and market penetration7. Synergy with PR & Government to boost the programme8. Creation of Project Portfolio with OD & Marketing VPs to increase LC understanding and performance9. Creation of a Knowledge Portal together with OD to increase Functional knowledge10. Contribution in packaging the IGCDP product for corporate sponsorship11. Responsible for S&S implementation in IGCDP

The MCVPIGIP/BD is responsible for the Sustainability of the MC . With the creation anddelivery of National Products Portoflio, this role ensures the Growth in ELD programmes,execution of National Partnerships and High quality standards to our Partners. As Teamleader of the department, you will be responsible for the management team and ensuringperformance growth.

1. Creation and update of national product portfolio2. Ensure delivery of all the MC Partnerships3. Planning and tracking of all IGIP & BD activities with major focus on the BDM4. Responsible for keeping close contact with AI in downscaling International Partnerships where necessary5. The MCVPFL&A is responsible for the general financial and legal administration of AIESEC inEthiopia. This role would attract both internal and external knowledge for effectivemanagement. The responsible must ensure wide knowledge of this field in buildingstrategies to capitalize on and represent AIESEC in Ethiopia before our stakeholders in termsof Financial and Legal Management.

1. Creation of National Budget2. Administration of MC/LC Funds3. Legalisation of AIESEC in Ethiopia and Execution of Legal duties4. Cashflow and Bookkeeping5. The MCVP MAC & PR is responsible for ensuring the Brand Positioning of AIESEC in Ethiopiathrough cobranding activities, contact with Media, Organisations, and participation in events aseither speaker or delegate. This role is also responsible for creating and delivering the brandpositioning strategy through our Online channels, lead generation and LCVP Marketing/BD/PRmanagement for National alignment.
