AIESEC is an international platform that enables young people to explore and develop their leadership potential for them to have a positive impact on society. ABOUT US

History of AIESEC

World War 2 (1939-1945)

One of the worst conflicts the world has ever seen

resulted in global devastation.

The entire generation of young leaders was either

missing or dead.

A new generation of young leaders would have to

emerge from the universities with the

responsibility of rebuilding their countries.

In September 1946, students from 9 universities and

6 countries came together to build a new

cooperation and to prevent another world war

from occurring.

Thus, AIESEC is formed!

GLOBAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME (GIP)

• Creativity and Innovation

A functional department that sets the AIESEC brand

in the market and helps AIESEC programmes to

penetrate the market. We support other departments

in their processes. We also ensure and maintain the

brand positioning of AIESEC.

CORPORATE RELATIONS

(CR)

A functional department connecting talents from all

around the world to the Malaysian corporates, with

the vision and mission of enhancing the local

workforce. We are also the catalyst of change for a

globalized workforce in the Malaysian corporate

world.

What do we do?

• We contact corporates in Malaysia and look into their

talent demands. We help them to grow and expand

by providing global talents from other parts of the

world. Besides, we serve as the host for these foreign

talents, by integrating them into our local culture.

in CR?

A functional department that acts as the treasurer and

secretary of the organization. We manage the finances

of the organization and are the spokesperson when

dealing with university authorities.
