Adapting your clothing, not your style.

Dressability is a local charity based in West Swindon which provides a clothing alteration

and adaptation service for people with physical and learning disabilities and the over 65’s.

Getting dressed is something that most of us do automatically. We probably spend more

time deciding what to wear than putting on the clothes. It’s something we never think about

because most of us don’t have to.

Dressability offers a home visiting service together with free collection/delivery in Swindon

and within a 25 mile radius.

Please contact us to make an appointment to discuss your requirements.

Special thanks are in order to local running group GoodGym. A lovely group of volunteers ran to the rescue at the Saltway Centre in August. The group kindly helped the Aiming High Team to tackle brambles and rosemary bushes from some planters. They worked solidly to get most of the planters cleared. In the coming months we are working to rebuild the planters to make them more accessible to the children that attend our specialist groups, with the vision of having some home grown fruit and veggies that the children can take ownership of – watch this space! Every week GoodGym work out by helping local community projects. They meet at Better Swindon Oasis Leisure Centre every Tuesday for a group run, or walk, as some of the tasks are walkable. New runners and walkers are always welcome and nobody is ever left behind. You can get involved by visiting: www.goodgym.org/areas/swindon
