SEEKING: Actors of all races, genders, and abilities (ages 14 - 26) to join ImpACT on Stage’s company of ‘ImpACTors,’ a traveling troupe that performs social impact theater throughout San Diego County. We will be beginning our pilot program for colleges/universities this sum- mer, so we are especially seeking college-aged actors! REQUIREMENTS: Experience in live performance (theater or improv); commitment to Im- pACT’s mission of promoting compassion and kindness; minimum availability of one re- hearsal plus one performance per month (middle and high-school students can receive excused absences per California Education code); comfort with difficult subject material (abuse, self-harm, sexual violence, etc.); improv experience a plus. BENEFITS: This is a paid position! Student ImpACTors can also receive community ser- vice hours for their work. ImpACTors are frequently invited to attend, perform, and/or speak at conferences throughout the region—see impactonstage.org/in-the-news/ for some examples of our media coverage. ImpACT also often brings in professionals from various industries to host master classes, and company members receive opportunities to attend exclusive performances and workshops. DETAILS: Auditions will take place in 15-minute increments on Sunday, May 30th, and Saturday, April 6th from 11am - 2pm near Downtown San Diego. Auditions are by ap- pointment only; this is not an open call. Audition slots will be scheduled on a first-come first-serve basis.
