Two types of entrance stations are available for the AiphoneGT video intercom system, ntegrated and "ombined

greeting message, tenant names and numbers, and systemstatus%, motion sensor, and voice annunciation.
Combined $ntrance Stations with semi-flush mountinterchangeable steel faceplate modules, that mount within

Are GT )oor Stations different to GT $ntrance Stations*
@es. ;hile GT entrance stations are located at the entrance to a building, set ofunits, or office comple, and allow a visitor to contact any one of the many tenants,GT door stations

A GT door station may only be used outside an apartment, unit, or office, if the GTmaster monitor station used by that tenant is an Aiphone GT-*". Bther GT mastermonitor stations do still however support a door bell button located immediatelyoutside the tenant+s door $as does the GT-*" as well%.
There are four different door stations that may be used with the GT videointercom system.
Video intercom camera door stations from the single residence Aiphone '( Series may be used with the GT-*" master monitor station, when placed immediately
outside the tenant+s door. "hoose from the flush mount stainless steel plate '(-/V&door station, the '(-/V surface mount :inc die-cast $left% door station, or the plastic
surface mount '(-/A. All of these '( door stations feature a 0123 wide angle digital4T5 camera, similar to that used in the GT video intercom entrance stations.

Internal Tenant Stations
+aster monitor stations have the capability to support up to three additionalsub-master monitor stations, or monitor stations, within the same tenant+s
apartment, unit, or office.
Sub-master monitor stations must work in conCunction with a master monitorstation.
+onitor stations may be used on their own if the tenant only re)uires only onestation inside, or as more economical $but less capable% master and sub-mastermonitor stations if the tenant re)uires more than one station.
There are two Aiphone GT master monitor stations, the GT-*" and the GT-0".
The GT-C master monitor station would be mosttenant+s first choice. The GT-*" features include$blue-highlighted features are uni)ue to this

GT +onitor Station 4ption ConnectorsGT monitor stations have one or two Bptions connectors on their back, which havethe pin-outs and functions identified below.
)oor 5ell input allows a door bell button located immediately outside the tenant+sdoor to be connected to the tenant+s master monitor station. The door bell shouldhave contacts that are normally open, and be non-latching $momentary action%.
$mergency Alarm nput allows connection of a switch to generate a securityalarm. Switch contacts should be normally closed, and be latching.
Security30tility inputs 0 to 6 allow connection of security sensors or switches for Aiphone Security Suite support, or other utility functions.
)octor Call nput allows connection to a switch to automatically allow entry of a
doctor or other emergency service. generate a security alarm. Switch contactsshould be normally closed, and be latching.
4ption Contact output may be used to activate lights or an eternal call bu::er,
using the GT-H@ relay to buffer the Bption "ontact output.
Video 4ut output provides an TS" direct video signal for displays I6m away.Bnly live video is sent to the Video Butput, there is no video output when viewingpreviously recorded pictures, or menu pages. CCTV integration support is
provided by via this TS" video output, and )isplay Transfer output relaycontacts that may be used to activate eternal monitors via an optional GT-H@eternal signalling relay. Foth of these outputs are accessed using the < pin optionconnector on the back of the GT-*" master stations. This connector is not provided
with the GT-*", even though the 0* pin option connector is.

GT Standard Configuration
The Standard "onfiguration for a GT video-intercom system is illustrated below.The configuration from the residence $or tenant% trunk lines to the tenant monitor
stations is the same for the Standard and the ?panded "onfigurations, and isillustrated is a subse)uent section.
The video output from the video entrance station is connected to the GT-VF" VideoFus "ontrol nit, which has J trunk line outputs.
The audio and control output from the entrance station is connected to the GT-H"Fus "ontrol nit, and then out to J trunk lines from a /istribution 4oint $that mustbe provided by the installer%.
The separation of the video and audioEcontrol distribution allows an audiointercom-only system to be implemented by omitting the video component of themodular entrance station, the GT-VF", and all of the video distribution cabling.
There is a table in the GT video-intercom installation manual indicating themaimum cable distances between all GT modules, depending upon the gauge of
4? cable used. The 2.=mm column should be used from this table if 2.Kmm 4?cable is being used in the installation.
;hile only one modular entrance station is shown above, any of the modular
entrance stations, or the integrated entrance station may be used. Also, multiple
entrance and concierge stations are supported, as indicated in the L!aimumSupported !odules8 table above.

The ?panded "onfiguration GT system uses the GT-VF> ?panded Video Fus"ontrol nit and the GT-F"> ?panded Fus "ontrol nit to provide < additional
sub trunk lines, allowing up to < sets of GT-VF" and GT-F" control units $the sameunits used in a Standard "onfiguration GT system% to be used instead of Cust oneset. The GT-VF> and GT-F"> must be mounted adCacent to each other, as theirinterconnecting cable is only <2cm long.
