INTRODUCTION

What is an Airship? Airship is an aircraft that consists of a cigar-shaped gas bag, or envelope, filled with a lighter-than-air gas to provide lift, a propulsion system, a steering mechanism, and a gondola accommodating passengers, crew, and cargo. Airplanes are heavier than air and fly because of the aerodynamic force generated by the flow of air over the lifting surfaces.

AIR GLIDER

A Glider is a heavier-than-air aircraft that is supported in flight by the dynamic reaction of the air against its lifting surfaces, and whose free flight does not depend on an engine. Most gliders do not have an engine, although motor-gliders have small engines for extending their flight when necessary and some are even powerful enough to take off.

ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES

The glider would be not heavy. The glider is easy to fly. The glider easy to make and formed because it use of material

easy to be obtained in any place. The glider make easy to break. The design stated take time to complete the project those given. The design also used the measure that have been given.

QUAD COPTER

A quad copter, also called a quad rotor helicopter, quad rotor is a multi rotor  helicopter that is lifted and propelled by four rotors. Quad copters are classified as rotorcraft, as opposed to fixed-wing aircraft, because their lift is generated by a set of rotors (vertically oriented propellers).

BLIMP

A blimp, or non-rigid airship, is an airship without an internal structural framework or a keel. Unlike semi-rigid and rigid (e.g. Zeppelins), blimps rely on the pressure of the lifting gas (usually helium, rather than hydrogen) inside the envelope and the strength of the envelope itself to maintain its shape

HISTORY OF HIDEN BERG DISASTER

The Hindenburg disaster took place on Thursday, May 6, 1937, as the German passenger airship LZ 129 Hindenburg caught fire

and was destroyed Hugo Eckener argued that the fire was started by an electric spark

caused by a buildup of static electricity on the airship. The spark ignited hydrogen on the outer skin.

AIR SWIMMMER

Air swimmer will be similar to the loon , it will be prototype of loon. Loon is a new project on which google is working currently.

Loon is a network of balloons travelling on the edge of space, designed to provide Internet connectivity.

People connect to the balloon network using a special Internet antenna attached to their building. The signal bounces from balloon to balloon, then to the global Internet back on Earth.

OVERVIEW OF LOON

The balloon envelope is the name for the inflatable part of the balloon. Project Loon’s balloon envelopes are made from sheets of polyethylene plastic and stand fifteen meters wide by twelve meters tall when fully inflated. The balloon powers itself by two renewable energies, sunlight and wind.

AIM OF AIR SWIMMER

The definition of air swimmer is a flexible bag filled with air or gas. It looks a very simple toy for decorative purpose, but it is being used for other a variety of purposes. For example, the balloon is also considerably used to gather weather information such as atmospheric pressure, temperature, humidity and wind speed. A radio equipment attached to the balloon reports those weather information to the ground at a radio frequency of 433 MHz

Uses of Project- It can be used for surveillance as UAV. It can also be used to provide Internet in rural areas. It can be used for whether monitoring . It is used for arial photography.

Usages for disasters-  Most traditional networking and power infrastructures on ground

were damaged, but the balloons still provided the connectivity.
