Airmid has a number of features that will help manage your health and it can also link to participating services that provide you healthcare such as you local GP or community service like the district nursing teams. Airmid Patient App Guide

What is Airmid?

Airmid is a patient-facing mobile application available on IOS and Android. It allows you to book appointments and input your own data that will feed into your own SystmOne medical record. It can also integrate with other health platforms such as Apple Health and Google Fit.

Logging on to Airmid

To log on to Airmid, please enter your SystmOne Online username and password details. If you do not have SystmOne online set up on your patient record, you can set up a NHS logon account through the link on the log in screen as is shown below.

Once you have clicked on the link, this will take you to the NHS login page where you can enter your NHS log in details or select set up an NHS login account. Follow the steps on screen to register for a NHS account.

When you have set up your account and logged on, the website will send you a SMS text message security code for you to enter into the webpage. Select Continue, this will now log you on to the Airmid App.

After logging in for the first time the app will give you the option to set up finger print authentication. Decide whether you would like to set this up and then the app will take you to the home screen.

Home Screen

When you log in to Airmid, you will be taken to the customisable home page, where you can add buttons for your most commonly used features by selecting the blue plus sign.

Menu Tab

All functionality is available from the menu tab in the top left-hand corner.

This will open up the menu bar for additional options on Airmid. Here you can select the following options: Home screen, Notifications, Messages, Appointments, Medication requests, History, Summary Care Record, Progress, Pollution, Clinic Locator, Family, Organisations, Settings, Help menu and log out.

Notifications

Notifications are messages sent to you from your healthcare providers.

These notifications can easily be dismissed by swiping or by tapping on the three dots symbol and selecting dismiss all.

Messaging

Messages are different to notifications, this option will allow you to directly contact the service with regards to your healthcare as long as the service has enabled this functionality.

As a patient, you can view messages sent to you from here and by selecting the plus sign you can start a new message.

Appointments

Appointments allow you to view and manage any pending appointments that you have scheduled with your healthcare service.

You can book new appointments by selecting the plus button and selecting the service you wish to book on to, then choose a date and time you wish to attend your appointment.

History

The history option allows you to view you clinical record. From here, you can filter your record to summary, full record, documents, allergies, vaccinations and lab results for blood tests.

You can also add your own information with the plus button if your GP surgery has enabled this for its patients. The information that you record can be seen by your healthcare providers.

Summary care record

Summary Care Records (SCR) are an electronic record of important patient information, created from GP medical records. By selecting the summary care record you will be able to see this information.

Progress

The Progress tab allows you to view graphs of numerical information such as your weight or blood pressure. You can also add information and readings with the plus button.

Clinic locator

The clinic locator tab allows you to search for local health care services within your area.

Family

The family tab allows you to link your patient record with another family member. When you have linked with another family member, you can see their record and put requests through on behalf of that family member.

Organisations

Organisations will allow you to see what NHS services you are linked to via Airmid, as well as allowing or removing certain features.

Help

Airmid also has a built in Help File which will give you guidance that is more detailed on how to use these features on Airmid.
