Proximity Marketing

Through an in-depth analytics package, you can discover a wide range of information about your customers. This will allow you to segment and target the right individuals with marketing that speaks to them, delivered via email or SMS to their mobile devices. You can also create unique campaigns to engage with your consumers in real time, based on behaviour. The portal allows you to create bespoke marketing campaigns that are relevant to your customer’s behaviour, interests and needs. Each guest can be automatically opted in to receive marketing information when logging in to the WiFi. They can also unsubscribe at any time at the bottom of any of the emails they may subsequently receive. Supplier access can be granted to the platform allowing them to view tailored reports and information set out by DAA, as well as the ability to design campaigns to your customers, consumers of their brands, without them having access to end-user data. This means of access could be monetised and render the solution cost

Purple is an intelligent platform for physical spaces. Using social engagement, marketing tools and location analytics, brands get digital insights using data from real world spaces, such as WiFi data. What it gives them, is better understanding of their customers through our best in market analytics, and the ability to create a highly personalised experience for people in their venues.

Enterprise customers have the option of four product lines: WiFi, Location, Fusion and Purple Provision (BYOD). Small businesses can take advantage of our free guest WiFi product or purchase a cloud software license, which gives them marketing and analytics tools.

Queue Management System

With ever-increasing passenger numbers and heightened security within airports, queueing is inevitable. Purple aim to optimize how airports plan and process large numbers of passengers through a Queue Management System (QMS). Passengers in designated areas such as Immigration or Outbound Security halls can be tracked by their WiFi-enabled device, allowing airports to provision the correct resources to manage queueing times.

Purple offer a large suite of reports bespoke to the QMS offering, allowing airports to track queue times, passenger numbers and lane redundant capacity.

Reports can be accessed in real time or viewed historically and Purple make the data available via an API.

Wayfinding

Customers are more likely to spend money when they feel comfortable finding their way around. Providing free WiFi gives customers access to wayfinding apps for ease of navigation. They can point people to their favourite food brands, the fresh foods aisle or the in-store cafeteria. Similarly, a friend finding tool could show fans where their friends are. This is not only a benefit from a social perspective, but also for safety - customers can easily pinpoint each other if they are separated.

Data Ownership

DAA will own the end-user data and have the ability to use this to enhance other platforms such as loyalty systems and digital signage. Through integration with your chosen hardware vendor, and by triangulation of data, we are able to provide both a real-time and historic view of device location and activity within the venues, tracking of all WiFi enabled devices present - including those not logged in.

Zones can be added to venue maps to provide visibility of device counts in these areas and the ability to promote footfall statistics passing certain areas.

Camden Market case study

Working with Cisco Meraki, Purple WiFi is providing a secure and legal Social WiFi solution for Stables Market Camden, London’s favourite market. The fully supported service is free for users 24 hours a day and offers Stables Market Camden access to helpful data from the network. This includes footfall mapping, allowing visibility on how public spaces in the market are being used.

“We had a successful Meraki installation at a competitive price,” says Jac Timms, Camden Market’s Head of IT. An immediate benefit for Camden was the ability to be quickly up and running. Although it took some time to calibrate the space and make sure the devices were all plotting to the map accurately, the agile cloud-based solution requires no hardware setup. Launching Purple WiFi’s powerful reports and analytics functions required just a few settings to be configured and added to the Meraki dashboard.
